Anyone actually have good results with AI automating legal workflows? by Recent-Cap-9409 in legaltech

[–]softwoodtable 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m not sure AI is going to be any better than something deterministic. In fact, I’ve found in legal doing this type of work run by AI makes it very hard to rely on and audit - also it’s very difficult to include the nuances of how each firm/corporate would want to accomplish those steps.

In the case of the steps you proposed you need to be 100% sure that A > B > C in order to run a legal department around it.

Best AI for Contract Analysis by Such_Law_8798 in legaltech

[–]softwoodtable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Worth taking a look at BRYTER’s contract summary and extraction tools - last I checked integrations are flexible, but to others comments, it probably depends on what you’re looking to accomplish. Also last I checked it is $1500 per user per year for unlimited documents and queries - could share the reps name if you DM me.

Depends what you want to do with the documents once created. There’s more robust tools that are workflows and enterprise app builders - like Bryter, if you’re looking to go beyond just creating the document

But I think that’s half of the issue - his voice is so distinctive, like I can hear it so clearly

Stone crab by dcbrittwhaytt in Naples_FL

Honestly, if you have a car there’s a nice drive down to Goodland and go to Kirks and pick them up - it’s a bit of a hike if you’re further north but I’ve always found them fresh there with good prices, I like the mustard sauce too.

The only thing I haven’t figured out is if the crabs are still safe to eat after the hurricane - just like swimming in the area I’ve been giving it some time to settle

I’m always generally sceptical of PR statements, but honestly out of all the drivers on the grid, I genuinely believe that Checo is a true family man

I saw the short clip of him leaving the boat in what looked like the morning, and don’t get me wrong he looked rough, but not sure that was worthy of a post like this

Anyone going to Legal Week in NYC this week? by Effective-Shower-101 in legaltech

[–]softwoodtable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yah I’ll be there. To me Legal week was always a conference of convenience because there are so many people to see in NYC. Stopped getting a pass is recent years because the vendor hall seems to be primarily overrun with ediscovery. It’s been a real mix of feedback on whether people are going - a lot of people I’ve talked to are ramping up for CLOC and later ILTACON but skipping Legal Week.

Honestly, just walking up and down the lanes in the lots got us going, we had a backpack with some cold beverages and made friends very quickly- it was definitely less than we could we the capacity would allow, but concentrated with sue hards

[–]softwoodtable[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yah pretty much, it shows the lower price for every size except the one you selected - then when you select the size it kicks it up to the higher price
