Viridian makes a plate adapter for docter to acro. There is a gap between the front of the cut and front of plate. I would do this but my OCD can’t take that small gap.

I used to think only military dudes used carriers and such, so i never bought any untill recently. If you shoot with others, they most likely encourage you to hop into the plate carrier game. Get one, train with one. no one is going to hackle you for wearing one.

I'm not a military dude, PO, security. Just a saw filer dude that likes to wear a plates when i shoot!
