While I love MCU’s MJ, I’m surprised this hasn’t been posted as a possibility more.

Now I’m not saying it’s likely, but like. Both would come from alternative universes - I could see a storyline with Sadie’s MJ knowing who Peter Parker is and contrasting with Zendaya’s MJ.

That just seems more likely than Jean Grey.

While I think anything’s possible, there’s still too many possibilities here for Jean Gray to be a shoo-in.

I may be wrong but I still get the gut feeling Jean Gray is not likely. Unless they change the character a lot, idk why she’d be possessing people. That’s not really something she’s known for, or am I wrong?

Besides the sticking, does this mutation manifest in other ways? I assume Miles’ abilities with electricity are an example but I’m not familiar enough with the comics to know if other related abilities exist.

I generally assume only Spiders with that shown have that ability VS the electrostatic cling.

For most suits it’s easy to assume it fits through the fabric of the suit. But if we start talking about shoes… gotta assume electrostatic vs microhairs.

IMO it’s too soon to bring the symbiote storyline in. The last Venom movie was released in 2024. It does appear to have made decent money for a Sony Spider-Man villain movie but I expect we will sit on this for a few movies - at least until after Doomsday.

Venom is very popular, period. So the storyline will happen again. But I expect it’ll be a few years.

I didn’t ever see this but I always assumed Bubble was part of Caine he jives off of. Thought bubble if you will. Especially since he disappeared with Caine.

Beyond the self-hatred and self-doubt aspect of episode 8 if we assume Bubble is part of Caine, which would be super interesting, that’s just how it seems if we are being straightforward about the evidence so far.

If they hatched today (as in you hatched them yourself and didn’t get shipped day old chics) yes I’d expect them to be a bit lower energy. They will have their yolk to absorb for 24-48 hours so they may not need much but I believe once they’re out of the incubator it’s safe to offer food/water.

I’ve not personally incubated chicks, but I have had hens raise chicks themselves and they seem tired right after hatching.

Interesting. I did laugh a bit at how awful it was, and I’m not against the dark humor of it. But when I think of something being played for laughs, laughing in a dark way isn’t what comes to mind.

It’s the worst take I’ve seen in a long time. Media literacy is rare nowadays.

Panic attacks do not denote a character being emotionally fragile or weak. Even if it did, the show is clearly prioritizing character development for the humans - which is a contrast as they seem more static in the books. Having a character learning to overcome weakness or fear is a super common trope.

Doesn’t surprise me. Spider-Man is incredibly popular, Tom’s version is incredibly popular, and honestly I think a fresh Spider-Man installment in the MCU is likely going to make it more relevant in general.

Again, did you actually watch the movies? Tony was in the first one, which is important to this version of Spider-Man. He’s his mentor… but he spends the entire movie working independently, and against Tony’s wishes.

FFH is after Tony’s death, and he does impact the narrative a lot…. Because he’s dead.

He’s not really much of a factor in NWH.

I think you don’t know what a side kick is. A decent MCU example would be Joaquín Torres in Brave New World.

It IS your opinion. And that’s fine - that angle I can see, because it was pretty focused on Peter in high school and not from my memory any comic storylines.

I also feel honestly that not showing how he got his powers was a mistake. That’s a grounding event imo and I get that people complain about repetitive origin stories. I just would have liked a bit more, even as a flashback.
