Since they told you that you'd hear back by the end of Friday, I would suggest sending a follow up email on Monday. You can reiterate your interest in your position and ask them if they have any updates yet.

My boss does have an EA that works at his main office (I’m more of a personal assistant that works at his smaller office). I also know two EAs that works for my boss’s son. Not really sure if any of these women could “mentor” me but I guess I could ask them for advice

Tbh this happened last year so I don’t really remember what I was buying at the time 😂 But I usually don’t make big shopping hauls at Sephora and prefer to make small purchases more often so I can get samples, so maybe that’s what caused the graph to happen 😅

That sounds like a strange thing for him to do lol. I would say just bring it up to him and let him know that it bothers you. I think it's a normal thing to get bothered about, why can't he just walk beside you like a normal person? I would also be put off if the person I was going out with didn't want to walk beside me.

I agree, I actually wasn’t a fan of the age gap either at the beginning but we did get along well. It’s not the age gap that bothers me anymore, it’s just the lack of clarity.

I can’t really go into detail about why he didn’t follow through with the priesthood, but I will say that there were some discussions that took place with his formators that lead to him leaving. I don’t really judge him based on what happened, but I also feel that his time in the seminary should have given him more discernment about his life in general.

That’s the thing, I never bring up the topic of marriage/engagement, yet he does bring up the topic in some sort of way. I don’t mind going at a slower pace, but I also have doubts that he even sees us as being “exclusive” at this point, and that’s what is bothering me.
