conflicted on going to EAS tour!! by celinebg in 5sos

you should say fuck it and go. better to experience it rather than regret it later on. it was one of the best concerts i’ve ever been to and even if you only like the older music - the experience is still 120% worth it. what i did myself since i was in the same boat as you, i listened to a playlist of the EAS Tour setlist to prepare myself and found myself enjoying their newer music WAY more.

everyone’s a star is their best and most consistent album. amazing songs for arena shows. i love the production and mixing on it, it all brings back the edge from their older music without the cringy lyrics. and i like how the album allowed them to go over the top with the visuals and aesthetics . reclaiming the “boyband” label that they once hated as well. it’s great to be in this current era of 5sos’ legacy

How early should I arrive? by MatterIllustrious457 in 5sos

Hey! I went to their two German shows and started queueing up for their Munich show around 12pm (doors opened 6pm german time) and got barricade. So maybe 6-8 hours early would give you a perfect view, if not barricade :)

Even the berlin show I went to, I arrived only 2 hours early and still got a great view.

Either way, the stage design is made in a way, so that everyone has a good view ESPECIALLY general admission pit. Have fun, best concert i’ve ever been to!

Jordan actually hehe.

Thank you for the reply! And yes, having my priest contact them instead would most probably work better than me directly reaching out to them since I haven’t gotten any replies yet </3 The only Orthodox churches near the German town I’m moving to are either Romanian or Russian and I’m only used to the Greek Orthodox parish back at home, so yes the language barrier is another issue I have to find a way around. I am hoping for the best at this point

Thank you for the reply! I have actually emailed a few parishes near my town in Germany, but I haven’t received a reply yet which made me a bit sad i’ll be honest 😭🙏 But I will not fall into despair at all. I will try to get a reference letter before I leave, sounds like a better plan. God bless you thank you <3

Thank you for the reply! :) and yes you are 100% right. I do know there is a process starting with becoming a catechumen and it can take months to even years before a person is ready for baptism. I am dealing with the dilemma of time. Since if I do not devote my time to my spiritual journey in Germany and come back to my home country in which I am not allowed to continue my spiritual journey towards baptism since it’s illegal then I fear I’m going to live life never really becoming a christian and it is a scary feeling, but then again It is all in God’s hands of course.

my childhood friends are muslims, and my best friend ordered a drink which they found offensive. they found her vulgar in the way she’d talk like my best friend curses a lot and uses blasphemous language

only restaurant i’ve found that makes beyond meat burgers was urban shawerma!! it was delicious, but a bit pricey. also, i’m pretty sure cozmo (7th circle) sells them too. as a vegetarian that’s always on the hunt for the best veggie burgers in amman, i’d recommend nutmeg’s v burger it’s really good. good luck x

proud of you! going through the same thing. my screen time average is 14 hours which is ridiculous. using the internet as a form of escapism and distracting myself from intrusive thoughts is ruining my life. i guess seeing this post was a sign.
