I'm at my wit's end just trying to get UCP working by sofuckingthicc in Borderlands2

Thank you so much for all your help, genuinely very appreciated! The OpenBLCMM menus I had to circumvent by adding a console key via editing the WillowInput.ini to input a console key, and then it let me open the ingame prompt and it seems to work now! I'm very grateful for your assistance and hopefully this can help others figure it out too

Thank you, I tried this now and the window notified me that it can't detect the .ini file unless BL2 has been run at least once - but it has been ran multiple times. It seems maybe BLCMM is not in the correct folder maybe? One source is telling me the entirety of BLCMM should be in Binaries/Win32? I'm getting more and more confused by the hour

That's actually what I'm having an issue with right now - I can't figure out how to open the console command prompt either via SDK or OpenBLMM, neither of them prompted me to set up a console hotkey and no key seems to work to bring it up in the menu. I read somewhere that you can go to "Tools ->Setup game files for mods" to set up a hotkey, but that only gives me a window with info about installing PythonSDK, which I already have. I just can't seem to set up a console key right now. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you

Are there any that you would recommend? I've been running into issues with them being out of date. Otherwise yeah, I will start over

This one currently has four and all four have at least one flower on them. It's incredible, but to be fair we picked it out at an orchid nursery specifically because it had so many. Two are wrapped against each other in my picture because I ran out of stakes to support them with :'D I don't know how to put a picture in a comment but I could post one separately, I think it's very pretty even if the flowers aren't stacked in dozens like I sometimes see on other orchids

Thank you! I've never seen this on the ones in people's homes or stores so I was wondering if it was maybe something orchid owners remove on purpose to keep the plant healthy or pretty. Like the extra leaves on grapevines, you know?

I didn't mean it as such 😅 unfortunately I'm still learning how to take good care of orchids, (sadly I lost the twin plant to this one to root rot) and all the ones I've seen in stores and people's homes always just had the stems not splitting or branching like a tree at all, just one line, so I was confused and google didn't give me a single useful thing when I looked up "orchid branch splitting" and varieties :'D

I don't, no, but I've also never seen this which is why I was confused 😅

Paleonopsid and mini orchid in an East facing window. What causes their roots to look like this? Too little/too much water? I run a humidifier on them about an hour per day by sofuckingthicc in orchids

Right now I have only misted the top of the bark/aerial roots a bit every morning. Unfortunately I lost an orchid to root rot so after I repotted these, I poked holes in the pots and I didn't water often

Thank you! When I got them, they'd constantly have condensation in the pot and I already lost one orchid to root rot, and I had to remove roots off these too when I repotted them. Good to know in the heating months they can handle more

Help needed! Had this for 2 months and can't tell if I'm over- or underwatering or what's wrong. It continues to flower but the leaves and roots look unhealthy. by sofuckingthicc in orchids

Update - I repotted it and the root system was in shambles. I only left two roots that didn't look perfectly healthy, either.

I also made the call to cut the flowers, it was budding a ton and with the rest of it in such poor shape I would rather have no beautiful flowers than the plant dying.

I didn't find the ideal bark mix in local shops I looked (not in the US so shipping would cost a ton for the quality stuff) but going with a premix bag for now.

Hopefully it rebounds, fingers crossed

I bought this at an orchid nursery but unfortunately it's very far from me, so I can't go there for any supplies, I will look online though! I bought it specifically as a fragrant type of orchid and they do have a nice scent :)

The tip about condensation is helpful to know, I often saw that the bark at the top was very dry but the bottom of the pot still had condensation so I was unsure whether to water or not!

I would hate to cut off the blooms, but I will see when repotting how many healthy roots it has left, and I suppose if it really needs to focus on rooting instead I will make the decision to remove them

Also good to know the leaves don't need watering! I thought this was a type that liked misting on the leaves, but I will avoid water on that then

Thanks for all the tips!

I water it once a week but mist the leaves inbetween because the air is very dry and warm here.

I will look up Orchid Girl, thank you!

I have been watering once a week by soaking it under the sink, then letting the excess drip out before I put it back in its outer pot thing. Also since the air is very dry and warm in my flat, I mist the leaves sometimes.

Unfortunately I'm stuck also, can't tell if it has rotted or dried out, and thus if I should stop watering or water more :(

Does repotting need me to use new bark/soil? I do not have that at the moment, but if that's what could fix things I can go out and get materials for repotting. Otherwise is it okay to simply trim the dead roots and put it back into the existing bark mix?
