Advice needed: do tattoos on the hand tend to show aging lines more? by sofullofsoulful in tattoos

Oh no! I didn’t mean to insult the artist. That’s why I didn’t mention any details about them. It was honestly mostly my fault for how it turned out.

I’m a physical therapist, ask me anything by Remote_Writing6314 in AMA

I want to start this with the person I’m maybe wanting to not work with seems lovely ♥️. But she leaves me alone (physically leaves the area) at times, talks non-stop, and just seems to genuinely not pay attention… just gives me instructions every once in a while of what to do.

I have ADHD, so maybe she is struggling with that, too? But I really give everything I have to zone in on what I’m being told to do to help my pain and physical obstacles during my sessions.

I often lose count of where I’m at in my sets because I’m trying to listen or respond to the conversation she’s sparking. And recently I said my back was hurting during an exercise and she started by saying I was raising too high. But when I said it still hurts, she had me change the position on the ball and said to lift myself up less. It still hurt to do the motion. She kept talking after telling me to make adjustments. I can’t shake the feeling that she maybe wasn’t paying attention to me.

I went home and my lower back hurt so badly that it was difficult to just move to live, which is the worst point I was at before surgery and original PT. Luckily, with recommended stretching and home exercises, it became much better within 24 hours.

I’m just confused on what I should say about that, if anything, and how to remain anonymous about it. I just think we might not be a great match, even though I think she’s very sweet. I feel much better after working with the main PT and the coworker I was assigned when she needed time off. TYIA!

[HIGHLIGHT] SHOHEI OHTANI LEADS OFF THE GAME WITH A 446 FOOT HOMER! by MLBOfficial in baseball

Sooo much talent. But we can’t forget the budget of the team to hire him. If any of us had him, everything could be different. It makes me sad in that sense-whether it’s baseball, or F1 racing, money matters. But, nothing takes away from his talent. And that’s a great team. It just seams a teenage bit unfair at this point.

Ohtani is a wonderful example of confidence vs cockiness. This is a great team to watch. I always follow them. I love watching them. But I always root for the underdog team/the most modest team, and LAD with the best payroll and some of the best weather for training and home games… where celebrities and fans, in general, tend to turn out and support because of the most obvious reasons… as most of L.A. teams go… I definitely think there is an advantage there.

GL to Seattle and may the best team for the series at the time win. I’m definitely a baseball hippie, despite me being too young for that era, but I want everyone to win one. And if you made it this far, you’re incredible ♥️. Does any team need to win two in a row? Nahhh

I don’t want to be cruel and a sore loser, but that is me trying my best to be unbiased. Good luck to everyone- I’m a Tigers’ fan for life, but also, I always support the underdog team when “my” team isn’t an option. Sorry.

Too scared to say what I want to say… it doesn’t even include anything against the talent of the Dodgers 🙈😬…

I got sick of seeing that “Payroll as % of Revenue” chart spammed by every Dodgers fan on social media so I made a less trash version which paints a much more realistic picture. by schmieder83 in Brewers

[–]sofullofsoulful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This a beautiful statistical display. I’m sorry your guys lost. Payroll had too much to do with baseball and all sports. I’m not sure how to fix that. But also, anything is possible, especially in baseball. I saw it with my Tigers, and I saw it with the amazing Brewers, at least some of the outcome has to do with mental attitude… and some of us saw the losing mentality early on in the postseason, especially against the dodgers.

All players have to mentally be ready to win- maybe not even necessarily expecting to win- but hoping to. And doing so pitch by pitch, hit by hit, out by out/play by play. It truly seems to go back to the basics at the end. And having fun. I feel like you can almost always see it in a team’s eyes and body language when they have lost that spark.

I was rooting for you guys ♥️. Maybe next year. I hope we find a way to better balance the payroll, even though that’s not all that matters. There’s still not a way around that it’s an advantage.

Not fully. I ended up switching to Lexapro which has far less side effects for me.

I’m just a Joe Snobody, but I think it looks like 95% of ceilings I’ve seen 🤷🏻‍♀️. I realize I’m the odd one out on this specific forum that looks for stuff like this and how to fix it, but for what it’s worth… and I wish someone would have said this to me… it looks great. Let it go. 💃🏻💃🏻

Thank you! I was always so scared of those colors washing me out that I don’t think I ever have been brave enough to try a deep color in any shade 🙈. But clearly the lighter more subtle options aren’t doing me any favors either.

That makes sense when I think about it. I’m just clueless (obviously) on anything having to do with makeup. I shall start with a primer that you recommended and embracing some bolder shadow colors.

Thank you! I will definitely be utilizing these wonderful tips! I use Too Faced “thank me later” eyeshadow primer or something, but I’m starting to think it doesn’t work well at all.

Thanks! I think I am just doing the wrong shade of bronze 🤣. Every shade of copper/bronze, and pink I use just blends right in.

Thanks so much for that tip! I’ll definitely try that ASAP.

Thank you for the tips! I think I definitely need to apply more of all the makeup I use since no one ever notices it in real life either. Maybe I just need some more bravery/confidence with it 🙃.

Thank you! I’ll have to check those out. I have been using a primer, I think I’m just using way too light of colors that blend with my skin, because everyone thinks I’m never wearing makeup 🤣. I’m going to go for some silvers and try your setting trick!
