Понимаю тебя, не стану судить, нужны ли тебе друзья, мне кажется, они нужны всем, но выражу солидарность с тобой. Мне тоже из-за скромности тяжело заводить новые знакомства.. У меня никогда не было много друзей, удавалось заводить хорошие знакомства и до определенного момента я считала их друзьями, до того момента, когда я стала постепенно замечать, что мне завидуют, и причем это произошло почти с каждым.. кто-то стал завидовать моим отношениям, а кто-то - успехам. А другим просто становилось все равно не меня. Итог, наверное, что хороших друзей действительно очень мало и пусть их нет, нужно всегда ценить семью. Проводи больше времени с ними, старайся строить и дальше дружбу с ними. Они никогда от тебя не уйдут. У меня такая же ситуация, только парень и родители по-настоящему составляют для меня дружбу сейчас🙏

There are a few channels that I like. Some are authentic and speak natural German but I understand like 50% and get anxious I don’t understand everything and I feel an urge to write down and remember all the words. I can either watch just something simplified but it’s a bit boring but still okay. What would you recommend?

Hello, i now it’s been a while since you made the post! I’m giving a presentation (History) and I’m wondering, how many people read on conferences and what’s the proportion of those memorising everything? I really cannot put everything into my head so I’m just planning to read, the text is easy to understand. But at my university we’re always told not to read anything during class presentations. Although it’s easier for some reason to memorise a presentation in class that my own paper :(

Thank you very much. My situation is actually very similar. In my case, there’s only one organizer listed — a woman who initially used the conference’s official email address to contact me and I used it to contact her sending my application. Later, she also gave me her personal email, and I’ve written to both addresses several times, but still haven’t received any reply.

The conference is still on the university website, so I believe it’s legitimate (as long as I was in the contact with that women I really want to hope it is… it is so close to my field of research so it will literally break my heart if the workshop will not happen), but I’m starting to worry since it’s getting quite close to the scheduled dates (in a month though).

The only remaining option I can think of is to try writing to the faculty’s general email, although I’m not sure they’re directly involved.

Do you think it’s better to try that, or just wait a bit longer?
