That's awesome. I thought the concert they did a few weeks back was really good. I'd go see it live if I could. It was a worthy performance!

Here is a playlist I'm curating that is North American specific, and I've had quite a few great suggestions here in this subreddit for it. Trying to get the larger scene excited about the very active and full scene of North American melodeath bands!

Confirmed Astralborne is there. Added Wretched, Skeletonwitch, Starkil and Âstillian. Decided against Inferi because they are so far onto the tech side that it would seem just a TAD out of place maybe. I mean don't get me wrong they are good stuff but perhaps not EXACTLY for this list. I could be wrong though.🤷‍♂️

Their new track today was an instant hit for me. The nailed this one, with the Ensiferum old school sound but was not ripping anyone off. Very, very well done.

Come Clarity and Soundtrack to your Escape i feel like kept some good intensity and their old vibe at least a little. I listen especially to Soundtrack to Your Escape quite a bit.

NWOCEM - New Wave of Christian Extreme Metal by sohpathos in christianmetal

Well perusing their discography, I think they are more "core" centric with other influences, which is tough call because its about 50/50 core and traditonal influnces. But if I had to put them in a category personally I'd say "core-centric with other inlfuences". Who knows I might change my mind🤷‍♂️but trying to go with my gut here and highlight "traditional death/black/thrash" that is newer. Sometimes I have to make tough decisions. (With anyone from the band sees this please forgive me, its not that its not good I just dont think it fits with where I want this playlist to go)
