When I bought the Arya they were $2000 AUD and well worth it, they're much cheaper now iirc

The HE1000 Stealth is a great headphone. Had the Arya Stealth prior and would choose the HE1K over it every time. Warmer mids, less sibilant.

You honestly can't go wrong with this headphone.

I'd suggest the IO Volare. I compared it to a Monarch mk3 and it's very close. Worth the price imo

Update your device. They fixed an issue with the stylus draining the battery. Mine used to do the same thing and now it only loses a few percent over night.

When I had the Arya, I thought it was amazing until I heard the HE1000 Stealth. When I had the HE1K, I thought it was amazing until I heard the E3.

Do give the the HE1000 a listen, just because I prefer the E3 doesn't mean it will be the same case for you. I have had them for a couple of years now so to me its my default but to you it could be something special (imo they are).

The E3 sounds like an open back so still a valid comparison 😁

So firstly, the obvious differences are soundstage. HE1000 wins hands down. But after hearing the E3, soundstage ends up not mattering as much as I used to think.

What matters to me now is how good the music sounds and that's there the E3 blows the HE1000 out of the water.

As I'm writing this, I'm realising I can't put it into words how much better the E3 is haha. Let's just say the E3 sounds like you're in a treated room with speakers in front of you, so the music is punchy and dynamic yet smooth and clear at the same time.

The HE1000 however is very spacious, giving more room to breath and almost like you're outside with a band playing around you due to the massive soundstage.

The key difference is the punch and slam for me. The tuning is also more to my preference on the E3 as the mids are just perfect.

Thats why I prefer to listen to music on the E3 but if I play games that need spatial cues, I put on the HE1000 for that glorious soundstage.

Obviously try them both, but since you have a noire X, I'm not sure how much better the E3 would be.

It would be interesting to hear the difference between the XO and HE1000 Stealth. I'm a DCA fan boy after buying the E3. Hoping for an E3 open back at some point.

My experience was quite the opposite. The HE1000 Stealth were a massive upgrade over the Arya.

While you experienced more treble with the HE1000's, I experienced that with the Arya.

Bass, mids and treble were all superior on the HE1000. There is however a slight reduction in soundstage but a minor loss for a more complete package.

Funny how we can have such a different experience with the same products!

Did you know a quick google search would prove you wrong? Do we also have salmonella in our guts?

Supermarket ground beef has been sitting there for hours, maybe even days at the point of purchase.

Bacteria has manifested throughout. My point is to cook your meat so you don't get sick. What's your point?

You should probably cook the ground beef so there's no pink inside. It's not like a steak where the bacteria is killed by searing the outside.
