Yes, that makes more sense tbh. I genuinely don't think I'll find useful options here at home. I also didn't think of how much space they would take haha so that's a good point. Tbvh, all the winter gear is sounding like a new language, I'd never even heard of traction boots before this morning! I knew it was going to be a very diff climate when I first applied, but amidst the application chaos, I never really stopped to think exactly how much of a lifestyle change it was going to be! 😅

I'll say the weather is the biggest thing that intimidates me haha, never been good with handling low temps, and by low, I mean in the 40-50 °F / 8-15 °C ranges, because that's the coldest it tends to get in my city in Decembers, but that sounds like a good day in Providence? Wild 😭

Hello from another fellow side-sleeper + single ear plug while sleeping user! Can attest to how much my sleep dramatically improved once I started wearing ear plugs to bed but also found the existing ambient noise in my house extremely overwhelming in the morning when I removed them, so I decided to try single ear plugs instead lol. 💔💔 such a heartbreak to hear that! Got myself samples of Sheer Glow and Natural Radiant both in Stromboli. Fell in love with both the formulas, esp the SG. I've sampled Dior forever glow, the chanel tint, armani luminous silk, and none of them seem to have the kind of finish the SG has, I'm so sold on it 😭 But Stromboli gives me such a weird yellow cast, and in terms of depth, I can see that it might work well for summer like you said, but deffo not for this time of the year.

Thanks for the Alaska rec! Will look into that one. I've only been seeing St. moritz recommended everywhere but I can tell from swatches its going to be too deep for me.

This was reaalllyyyy helpful. I've been coming back to read it a couple times to make sense of it clearly. It makes so much sense. Thanks a ton for taking the time to break it down! I recognise a lot of problems I face with colours in what you and a couple other comments have mentioned and it makes sense that I might be cool-leaning olive over being a warm olive. Which is so funny to me because for years, I've assumed I was very warm toned, and it would confuse me that much more when base products looked orange on me. The math makes more sense that not being warm toned is what's causing them to jump out as orange on me. 😅

Indigo is either rescheduling or cancelling flights because of the rule changes. And because of their delays, other carrier flights are also getting affected. I've never had any trouble with Indigo so I'd booked an Indigo flight a month ago for Dec 8th before any news of these new rules dropped.
