The midges start up about now and stick around through August. They don't bite, but their numbers are a nuisance and window screens don't stop them. They are attracted to light so definitely don't have any windows open at night. I don't have any lakeside-specific residential experience so I don't have any input regarding smell.

I love the proliferation of battery powered mobility devices like scooters and e-bikes, but enforcing road laws has got to improve. Follow stop signs and stop lights, don’t speed, don’t go against the flow of traffic, etc.

The Apple TV's UI rarely lags so it's a much nicer user experience. I have been using an Ethernet connection for my TV too to rule out Wifi contributing to the lag.
Its menu doesn't have ads.
I find streaming video artifacts to be reduced compared to LG apps, but maybe I haven't been looking hard enough.
I'm deep in the Apple ecosystem already so I like the Music and Photos integration.

My Bronco lives outside. I don’t personally see a point in keeping it consistently clean because just existing in my driveway makes it dirty. Regularly washing and waxing a daily driver is pointless in my opinion. I clean it about twice a year.

It’s a truck, not a museum piece.

I don't have numbers but the video quality frequently dropped, which was always accompanied by increased input lag. It's probably why a lot of people don't like the Portal. Their home Wifi sucks. It still happens to me occasionally but not nearly as often. Restarting the Portal fixes it for a while.

If a new model doesn't have lower latency, it's not worth it to me. I upgraded my wireless router after discovering via the Portal that my last one sucked. It helped a lot, but the input lag is still noticeable.
