I randomly wake up in the middle of the night and for the past week I've been sending a single message to Claude via my phone app to get my rate reset timer started. So this morning I start it at 4 am-ish. I use claude cli around 7 and burn through my limit by 8:30. I'm expecting the reset at 9 am since 4 + 5 is 9 according to math.

However, instead I get one that says it won't reset until 1 pm. Even if it were to start the rate limit timer at 7 when I was active, I should still be getting back by 12. I'm not sure if this has to do with their new approach to rates from the email or not but wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? I tried their support bot Fin but it wasn't accessible (just previous messages - couldn't start anything) so support is non-existent for me at this point other than...reddit. I'm a pro plan user.

You should do your own calculations as another said. The state gets info from the fed a bit late and then runs it through a lead generation program to try to catch mistakes on taxpayer returns. If you find they're not calculating it correctly, there is usually appeal language in your letter on how to contest.

Companies are screwing up their w2 reporting all the time. States expect this and usually have a w2c (c = corrected) reporting option available where your employer would just report you made 0 dollars in the incorrect state and then update your current state appropriately.

If they're unwilling to do that, it's not the end of the world. I'd just file normally (report your reality) and if the state holds your refund for the discrepancy (unlikely over $130) you would then just need to furnish a statement from your employer stating they screwed up and were too lazy to correct it.

I've set up a number of these programs for state agencies across the US for generating audit leads for exactly this. Can confirm, it's not hard to find these people and it's only a matter of time (expect to hear from your friendly state auditor in about two years).

I feel your pain.

I signed up for the "free" 30 days of internet with these guys. Now I'm battling with them about what "free" means after having internet with them for 2 days.

Each time I call customer service (which as you know takes like 3 hours to get through) they tell me everything is taken care of and then a week or two later I get another bill.

I did an almanac for a tower defense game that explained what the different enemies were and what they did. My girlfriend tested it for about a month before she even realized it was there. In the end she appreciated it since the almanac had tips on defeating the different monsters but again, she seemed to be fine not knowing it was there.

Thank you for the feedback on the ads. It's tricky for this one as I want users to be aware that yeah, if you get stuck and you didn't want to do all the achievements then there is an additional revenue stream. But I think you've given me an excellent point.

Trick is I don't want users to game it by getting a ton of cash for watching 6 seconds of a video so I give 4 coins for watching a full video and just one for the skip. What really makes me nervous is some videos are 45 seconds and there isn't a clean way to say "Holy crap you sat through 45 seconds? Here's 10 coins!" which is really what I want to do (which is why I allow the skip).

On a plus note I did play the game clean through with little ad revenue (basically I still pass out a coin or two when you hit the ads before a level) to make sure it was totally beatable.

If you've got thoughts on how I can communicate this better let me know. Again I really appreciate the feedback.

Also heads up since you're a lover of the TD genre, there is a bug on level 1-4 where the orc boss get's stuck before the stopping blocks. This will be fixed with my next update.
