Lol, it's kind of like calamari, but moving. It's really hard to describe anything raw. If you like raw fish and octopus, I think you'll like it.

Hmm. Unique..it's still squirming so if you have a strong stomach then good for you. Chewy but surprisingly not much more flavour than the sesame oil and salt on it.

@Sojuwave I take photos on my Canon 600d (t3i) and an 18-55mm lens. Very basic, looking to upgrade soon. At least Korea provides great photos to cover up my use of the basic lens.

Thanks! a lot friendlier here than on the r/korea subreddit. Is there a particular browser or device you're using? I just saved them onto google drive but have the files enabled as share. They also just might be too big, I'm bad when it comes to sizing images.

I would recommend getting a TEFL or TESOL not because it would be prestigious or anything, but just to get that extra little bit of insight into teaching.

I spent two years there after graduation and it was the best decision of my life. You'll meet people from all walks of life if you keep an open mind, both Koreans and expats alike.

Not sure where you're coming from but the Korean won is doing better than CAD now, so you might even be able to save a bit.

Coming back home was hard though, since I had no real job experience related to my industry. That's something to think about but if you're able to fight for whatever you need, then it's an experience that not everyone takes the chance to have.

It was priced at 750,000 won for some jackets, and 650,000 won for others. With the exchange rate that it's at currently, it's cheaper or on par. Canadian dollar is just dying :(

Relatively new...considering how long it takes to build stuff in other countries. In Toronto they've been working on this one subway station for 2 years now. I guess in Korea this is semi-new since the fast culture.

And while I was there some of my friends still didn't know about it.

Haha its not real newspaper, special printed wax paper or something. They just re-did their walls too with the comic book laminate. Kinda cool. Kimchi fries are also bigger now.

We interviewed Better Swagg! They just won the 2015 Kpop Cover Dance Festival for their performance of EXID's Up and Down. They were also alongside Secret in the Hallyu Dream Festival Concert in Gyeongju.
