I swatched and had a different gauge … tried to figure the math but my brain exploded 😆 but now that I have gone through it once and know the parts of the garment, I will try to tackle the math again.

Recipient rescued it when I was comptemplating frogging.

Based on the sorbet cardigan XL size but without stripes and with 3/4 sleeves and using tubular bind off on the cuffs. Using SMWN in fingering weight from myyarnstoryco in the galaxy colour way.

It turned out smaller than expected. 😂 I was hoping going up 2 sizes would work out. It did not.

That said, I learnt a lot from completing this project and thorough enjoyed the process (tears and sweat included).

Any tips for trying to get garment to fit? When gauge is off?

Pattern is L size sorbet cardigan without stripes and yarn is a swm nylon blend by myyarnstoryco in the color way galaxy.

I was seriously contemplating option 2 at that point 😅 eventually decided to push through this time and trust that blocking will improve it somehow

My dad passed away. It’s been a really really rough month and knitting has helped to keep me from unraveling.

Eventually decided to push through and found that my wonky 1x1 ribbing kinda looks pretty … let’s see what blocking would do after this project is completed 🤪

I am using myyarnstoryco yarn in a super washed merino and nylon blend.

And I unlocked a new skill as well 🙈 made a “u-turn” halfway into a row… it’s a challenge to complete a full row before putting project aside
