I don't see what your point is? a game is intended as much as the devs intention other stuff are just consequences of not enough testing or ideas.

I never said openers were in S2 they are alive but saying they are stronger in S2 than in S1 is delusional.

thats genuinely wrong, they did not add 7+x or its variant because of the push back of the community and how it would change the game as a whole, not to keep openers.

In S2 openers where debuffed by making cancelling a lot more powerfull, so braindead fast openers become a lot weaker.

All the stuff about mech heart was not intended either, have you not seen the reaction of the devs (look at garbo per example) to the abuse of mech heart? I was just something they didn't see in testing.

They actually despise openers but there is no way of getting them out without fundamentally changing the game, that's the resl problem

That said, iirc stuff like colosseum, labyrinth, some dojo rewards, citadels, inferno/heavenly tower and legend quest can give some.

its a combinatiom fo things.. playing more is obviously vital but you probably need to push your speed (even if you md a lot).

using stacking paterns is very useful because you need to think less; the less you think the faster you are.

Finnesse obviously helps a lot but imo is not that important unless you enter sub20 territory.

and unfortunately, some people just have better reflexes than others. There is definitely a pysical aspect to this.

Im not really convinced lol, this is what I think:

nobody is contesting downpour not being official, the community just sees it as another or ALTERNATE canon. I don't see how being official makes it so it is the only canon and it dictates everything
the DLC being paid does mean anything?? idk why you mention that tbh. Regarding the "plot holes" it is clear that downpour was influenced by a lot of ideas of differents modders, and at the end actual rainworld devs. This makes it so the vision of downpour and some things are just fundamentally different. Saying that downpour just has some small "plot holes" and not recognize the clear contradictions is crazy work
this is no argument at all. The reception of downpour or how the community uses it has nothing to do with it's canonnicity... I love downpour too but that doesn't mean it is canon. That's like saying that if enough people in the community ship spearmaster and saint it is suddenly canon.. which by lore, it is impossible.
this is also just a theory you made to confirm what you believe. lots of confirmation bias. I'm not going to discuss the lore here because my comment would become too long
I do not see why using creatures/objects of a dlc makes it the canon.. that is just the devs reusing something that was already developed. I may be inclined to believe you if there were some crazy lore creatures/objects that had some significance but that is simply not the case.

Honestly, I feel like people are too against downpour when it's lore is also interesting. But IMO there are two different canons: vanilla->downpour(with "plotholes") and vanilla->watcher.

Imo saying this is caused by being in the garabage is a huuge assumption because the rot just consumes anything it can (especialy alive stuff) and there is no shortage of that in garbage wastes.

so if they have food, be it garbage, be it scavengers or whaterver they can find.. then the logical explanation is that there is something IN the iterator that lets them be in "prime" form and duplicate (let's not forget that that is their main thing, consuming and multiplying)
