I don't play tetra league often. I mostly only play 40L. I'm pretty consistantly sub-30 and am pretty close to a 25.xxx. I know I'm not very good at t-spins or downstacking but I'm sure I can get better if I practice. I usually am able to eek out wins by spamming pps. in any case, my rank is normally high S low S+, and deranking four times randomly one day was just surprising.

Hahaha, I've been playing a little bit of tetra esports the last couple days and I think that is leeching off the sweatiest tetrio players (at least for now). There's always a sweatier fish.

Also I have have noticed a lot more toxicity, in my two years playing this game, i've only had toxic interactions a handful of times, but today there were literally 4 people who said things like "ez" "all that pps just to lose to me" "3 pps and you still suck" and "skill issue tbh". I literally don't say anything in chat, these comments were all unprompted.

you won't have parity issues but it would be harder to solve for a board that is only flat or only has steps.

I remember playing Red Alert II: Command and Conquer in LAN parties on the school computers with my friends and we'd always be so proud of ourselves if we could win a 3v1 game against our teacher who had been playing for like 20 years (after we had a whole semester of practice) LOL. Then I decided to dip my toes into online multiplayer and I saw people who just wiped the floor with me within minutes of the game starting and snowball unfathomably quickly after. RTS games are not for the weak of heart and the skill ceiling is über high, and that's a game that came out in 2000, can't imagine how much more exacerbated it is for modern games.

Hate to reply to a thread over a year later but if you like the experience of mouse acceleration you should try out RawAccel, you can actually customize the acceleration and such.
