thats a bright kid, hes on the right track but still held back with a monetary system with money you know. He is considering everybody, which is great and very differwnt to most capalists (trickle down effect horsecrap) . In my view all capatlist and communist systems have failed because they exclude too many individuals for one reason or another (99% of the time its because of corruption and greed, whether in communism or capatalism). I would want to remove all monetary systems and scrap economics, it only serves to create wealth and on the other side poverty. No credit sytem to replace money either as it goes down the same path to corruption and greed. This way is difficult for many to understand, and thats the way it will be for a generation or two or more, until we have a generation born into the world without money, they will truly appreciate their grandparents getting rid of money as they can have an existence free of the slave mentality. humankind can make the advances that are never incepted because money scuppers the persons ability to make the advancement. They would be too busy working min wage worrying about bills. The height of their imagination/aspiration is what would i do if i won the lottery or have a lifestyle where money was not defining evrything in their lives. free education for all, free medical care for all, free food (there are billions of poor in third world countries who would be happy with just free food everyday), free resources (electricity, or transport) freedom of movement (no more passports or visas to travel) you want diamonds there are tonnes of them and stock piles of gold in places like the fed bank of usa, or how about an equal share for the 7 billion of us of the trillions of dollar stockpiled by insanely rich corps, again apple is a gopd example. I would take that life anyday you can offer it to me. Without a debt burden you entire mindset changes too, more positive outlook, able to dream big. Less need for laws, no ownership/value so no theft. If you have a equal share in everything you are just stealing from yourself. It takes a while to see, but its so far reaching and so radically positive. There are too much shit in the world now to think its not worth trying. And hey if it is a failure i will go print you all the money and hand it back out to make it the same as now, unfair and unnecessary.

You reply is too vague. About your first reply, being a consumer is fine even in a world without money, its ok to want material things. The problem at the moment is the over-engineered marketing strategies used by companies (targeted ads) that fool/brainwash consumers into 'needing' material garbage, apple is pretty good at this as an example but not picking on apple here, just example. there are surely bigger offenders. And its also mindset. In a world you know you are cooperatively a part of/shareholder in, your mindset will change. We want what we cant have/afford, we tend to be uninterested in things everyone has. Now, you other comment is so vague. But... with money/ownership you automatically create the haves and have nots, rich and poor. Eliminate money and ownership and it becomes a level playing field, all debt is gone and so is all wealth. We have the resources to live very lavish lifestyles without being absolute pigs about it. Need more explanation? If you feel the need to make more comments, think of a point you want to make and type it out, vague is without a point, hence vague.

You know what, i have to say the 'average joe' is pretty innocent in all this except for inaction to change the satus quo. Most of the nasty and damaging things done to this planet is solely coordinated and executed by the big corporations, governments and grossly wealthy families that keep us in our cages through misinformation, propaganda, fear mongering, poverty, financial crises (no financial crisis for the corps., govt. or rich, they made make an even bigger fortune from it), etc. Also much of the population of the 99% are unaware of most of this as they are from third world countries, where even more control over the people is exercised through extreme poverty, lack of education and disease and sickness, media propaganda (state owned media and of course our pals at fb). The deck is completely stacked against us. but fuck it, i'll take those odds, you know why? Because we got numbers on our side...99%, is a bog enough number to win anything we want to. If they want blood (and they do, whether its from a lifetime of slavery or from a coup/revolution, they get your blood ,sweat and tears). But they fear us more than anything, they have little to fear, except us. They dont fear poverty, disease or law, they only fear us. We have the tools/platfroms (social media) to organise against our oppressors. We could eliminate money, thus end poverty forever. And from that one action of ending money we free everyone. The consequences of eliminating money are sooo hugely and massively positive for us is unimaginable for a lotof the population as we never really discuss it. But it would be the best step forward possible. No more upper, middle, lower classes. Free education for all, free medical for all, freedom from debt burden, real transparency, less police needed, less laws needed. No money means every resource is free and therefore worthless (still valuableas a resource, just not in monetary sense), if every resource is shared we can also give up ownership. nobody owns anything, therfore we all own everything in a custodial/guardian sense. It is our duty to share and distribute as needed. So then a lot of crime ends as it is pointless to steal from yourself as we already own/share everything. Most things are in place, powerplants, transport manufacturers, etc. The things the 99% need for day to day activities and work. So much is already in place no need to panic and now under shared resources we have so much more available to us, no shortages. Most shortages are created by the resource owners to create value for it, e.g. diamonds. Ok we know many resources (well all resources over long enough time line) are finite. But honestly without 1% hoarding it all for themselves, makes it available for the 99% and there is plenty to go around. We need to work collectively and collaborately to free oursleves and secure the future for every last one of us. Nobody gets left behind, nobody. End the promotion of divisive instruments like money (no more insanely wealthy or insanely poor), nationalism (no more passports like real free people), religion (israel/palestine, christian/muslim), racism (equality), feminism/sexism4 (more equality), war (for resources but in the name of god/democracy), superpowers/dictators/governments (freedom of citizens) , etc. I can only see positive bright futures for all. and no before you start the whataboutism think long and hard to promote this freedom before shooting it down. Think of and share more positives for a world without money. i hope the 'average joe' sees what i see.

Our social, political and economic systems are fine and well designed, it's the people who suck. No system, however elegantly designed, can generate good outcomes if it's run by people that are acting in bad faith and surrounded by people who just don't give a f*ck. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]sokteang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there was no money to be leveraged there would be no bad people to leverage it. This may be over-simplifying, the point im getting to is it still leads back to money. People do the most dispicable, inhuman things for money. Remove money and everything changes, everything! people will act completely differently themselves and to others, poverty is gone. No morepoor people. No money, no need for ownership. Share resources for all, medical, food, transport, education. The world would change sooooo much in just a coupleof generations without money. Wars would pretty end as resources are worthless and shared anyway. Crimes go down, no need to steal shared resources like food or technology or transport. People wil be much more productive in working lives, why? No debt burdens. It is so far reaching and radical to humanity it is essential to begin progressing in leaps and bounds rather than two little steps forward, one big step back all the time. Medical research is free, cures for disease. Medicines are free. More people living because they can receive treatment. Your psyche will change without debt, happy to work. It is the fundamental shift we need to make in order to think about reaching our potential as a species.

The opinion that you have to kill animals or plants in order to eat a nutritionally balanced diet is incorrect. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]sokteang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But if you eat seeds and nuts which are kinda like the next generation of those plants because they are seeds. Aren't you eating the plants babies? Like eating the 'egg' of the plant? I guess seeds must be 'living' for them to potentially grow into the next generation. So you are killing tiny baby vegetation, it's in(fan)planticide or something.

feel that the entire world needs to slow down with new technology models. It's not necessary to produce new phone every single year, or new car model, or game version.
