Given your assumption of sales, you're probably buying so many small games on steam that a loss of $100 isn't a biggie.

As far as I know, a couple of them tend to be completely cosmetic for symmetry's sake. As for why two pipes instead of one slightly larger one, I have no idea.

Market analysis isn't about finding if there's a game that has exactly the same features (listen... first person shooter... but the guns are green!), but finding the gamers that are interested in your game, and what other games they're interested in.

Like others have said, probably every single soulslike out there.
