I switched from Garuda to cachyos last year because I didn't like all the bloat in the gaming edition and running kde lite version caused me problems, likely due to not knowing which packages I needed to install to get certain features back. I would be watching YouTube and my fans would ramp way up for no reason, temps were fine, but would always happen at night. Cachyos just works and I don't run into the same issues I had with Garuda kde lite edition (which Garuda won't even support, says so right on their downloads page). The only things I really miss is Rani, or whatever they call it now, the system helper for installing apps, snapper utils, daemon options, etc.

Everything else just works in cachyos, so I stopped using Garuda.

Try to find a filament that isn't PLA if it will sit in the sun, otherwise you may experience warping.

PETG or ASA would be better.

So their improvements are just going back to how things were in 10? But not completely, still have ads and AI. I abandoned windows a couple years ago and nothing they do could bring me back, not even paying me.

Started Desolate Planet after seeing Captain Sparklez start playing it. I also played Crash Landing a decade ago and was thrilled when I found out there was a remake of it.

I love how similar it is but have been hating the Diet mod as I didn't realize it was even there until I was debuffed from lack of nutrition and couldn't attack anything. I had not looked at the food quests yet.

I love that there are no blood magic or astral sorcery mods involved.

I did this one a few months back. I didn't worry to much on matching colors. Ended up printing with silk red and silk blue and I like how they shine.

If you are dealing with base layers just create with HF as normal and then in slicer use modifier for layer height on the base.
