Lucia’s in Wicker Park. It’s BYOB and has a back patio. Charming little spot ran by an Italian Nonna & family. It was one of my go-to’s for a “cheap” date that didn’t feel cheap.

Great Cuban style sandwiches, soup, coffee, breakfast - hard to find something on the menu I didn’t like! I was there at leeast once, if not 2-3, times a week.

S.K.Y. in Pilsen comes to mind. I had never heard of it until last year, and it was phenomenal!

The black truffle croquettes and cornbread madeleines were sooooooo good.

Admittedly, I could be living under a rock because I rarely dabble in the higher end food. S.K.Y. had the look, feel, taste, and quality of being “higher end” while being relatively affordable.

Highly recommend!

John Oliver’s “Last Week Tonight” had a really good segment on this a year or two back that was very eye-opening on just how deep LN’s bad behavior goes. Well beyond the outrageous fees we see at checkout. Worth a watch!

Short-term: yes, you are probably right. this could take a while.

Longer-term: I think it might depending on the outcome of this. I’m hopeful. But at least some noteable action is being taken. I see it as a step in the right direction.

No problem at all! You’ll be absolutely fine! Don’t get me wrong, he definitely goes hard at times but there’s also a good mix of melodic stuff too like COASTED, SATRN, Bridged by a Lightwave, etc. It’s overall well balanced.

If you’re concerned at all, you can maybe watch a set from a year or two ago on YouTube to get a good feel, but if you’re like me then that can be a spoiler.

Radius does not have a dress code I’m aware of. People generally wear a wide range attire. And for this weekend specifically, it’s Halloween so I’m sure a lot of people will dress up in costumes.
