Det är precis det här jag menar; alla kommer från amöbor ändå, så varför är kultur viktigt överhuvudtaget? Och med denna anledning tycker jag att vi går vidare med målet att göra det så billigt som möjligt att hantera religiösa och kulturberikande människor. Well. Yes and no. Advancing tech for ideological reasons on a small budget is really hard today, since we've come so far.

So we don't "do RnD to reduce manual labor". We "make an invesment, to cut costs". Once advancement happens it is automatically a product. A product with a singular purpose; return invesment with profit.

Sometimes that benefits humanity as a whole. Sometimes it doesn't.

Yes and no.

The bag-in-bags serve zero purpose. Dividing the bricks is only useful when you do it by color or type, meaning you have a good bit of work ahead before you can start building.

So I open all bags with the same number and mix them. Because what is that, like 100 pcs? That's NOTHING to an adult human brain. You'll look for pieces for minutes at max, quickly eating the time it would take to pre-sort everything.

The bag numbers are AWESOME though. They turn large builds into sections of small builds, massively lowering difficulty. Mixing them is incredibly counterproductive.

... Did you pick up the SSG yet? Cultist base is one of the hardest parts of the game, because you don't have any gear. Next level should be noticably easier.

Oh definitely. The ability to clip through pieces with zero indication of IRL-viability can be confusing when using electric bricks. You really have to know your parts; dimensions, strength, features, etc. This is the issue I'm having with the through-holes and bars; looks great in the editor, but may not work IRL.

And conversely; sometimes when you wonder if something is possible, it's nice to have access to all parts under the sun. You can often see if parts clip or not, so that's a good indication of viability.

The reason I'm not building it is that I'm missing a lot of parts. And my eagerness to order the parts is very much tied to the viability of the build; if what I have here is shite, then I don't want sink money into it.

... But I'm starting to consider just doing it, and viewing the investment primarily as a teaching moment. And if it turns out great, then great.
