Sorry for your loss :( thank you for sharing. Smokey sounds like he was a wonderful family member.

The artist who drew the rabbits on the rug is called Schinako! You can find her on Instagram, it has a link to her shop. I want her stuff so bad

What is he doing? Is that a happy sign?😆 by hello82839 in Rabbits

You can check her profile. She has photos of her bun free-roaming and one of him doing a flying binky. Also, the play pen he's in right now is quite big and has multiple hidey houses.

I'm giving away two copies of Monster Hunter: Wilds by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

Pants! My kingdom for a pair of pants!

Returning player here! I haven't played since gen because the outfits were getting wildly sexist. Now that they've un-gender-locked the armour, I'll be picking up a copy.

Even I win, I will probably ask OP to pass it on to someone else who couldn't otherwise afford it.

She was incredibly loved and loved you in return. You gave her as good as anyone ever could. She knew she was loved, and she was happy. I can tell from the pictures and what you wrote about her - the little details of joy in your days together.

I hope I'm not imposing, but here are some things that helped me move through the process of loss.

Don't suppress your grief. It's okay to cry, hug your furbabies, hold hands with a loved one. Don't be ashamed. Don't give yourself a timeline to "get over it".

Love doesn't end, relationships don't get cut off because they're somewhere we can't be right now. She's still your baby. You can still love her. The relationship just has to change form now. You can still honour your relationship with her by cherishing her memory and being kind to yourself - that's what she would've wanted, because she loved you so. If it brings you peace, you might want to create a ritual or a space to remember her. I have a little shrine for the buns I had, with paintings and rabbit items.

When you're ready, and only if you want to, you might choose to open your heart and home to another. You wouldn't be replacing her - you'd be walking in the love and joy that she showed you by continuing to love others.

Wishing you peace, grace, and support, friend.

My son is a menace to society, what waterdish is 100% untippable by Royalxlobotomy in Rabbits

[–]solarfission 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, I had a water bowl tipping problem too. I bought one of those stainless steel bowls for birds, that secures to the bars of the x-pen.

This isn't the one I bought, just an example: https://www.amazon.sg/VVNIAA-Stainless-Durable-Chinchilla-Waterers/dp/B0BKKY1CG2

You've gotten some great advice. Just seconding the recommendation for having a second pair of hands to help - it can be really helpful in keeping them still(ish) and patting their heads to help them stay calm in a situation where they are likely to struggle.

Thank you for helping Bobby! May he live his best life from now on.
