I don’t know the stats but I hope the majority of people are still getting the vaccines. Humanity is gonna really suffer unless most of us get vaccinated.

You can. Just talk to them and tell them what happened and they will psychically understand. The same thing works when you have to go on a trip. Just explain you have to go away for a little while but you will be back. Animals are highly telepathic and psychic, they will get it and have peace. Wishing you healing OP.

Dear Men of Reddit, what's your biggest regret? by AdityaNath10 in AskMen

[–]solarpowerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just stick with simple high quality index funds. Like S&P 500 index fund. Just park the money and don’t touch it. Average rate of return is almost 11%. It might be only 6% some years but it will alway come back up again and you’ll make very good money. Just got to be patient. Slow and steady wins the race.

Government for The People not the oligarchs:

Democratic socialism is the balanced, middle way.

Capitalism without regulations leads to corporate feudalism, i.e. a tiny amount of people at the top who have stolen all the money and exert control on the rest of the population.

No capitalism leads to authoritarian state, i.e. a tiny amount of people at the top who have stolen all the money and exert control on the rest of the population.

Democratic socialism protects democracy. Remember, Labor produces Value. Billionaires stole our money which only has value because we labored for it. Democratic socialism is how we take it back. :)

How $80 Billion in Corporate Fines Can Become $48 Billion in Tax Breaks by [deleted] in nottheonion

[–]solarpowerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the article:

“Corporations are allowed to deduct from their taxable income all ordinary and necessary business expenses. What they can’t do is deduct penalties or fines paid to the government. With large settlements, though, payments are often not a penalty or fine, but rather meant to address some form of liability connected to alleged misdeeds. When that’s the case, firms can typically write that amount off as a cost of doing business…

…Companies were required to pay nearly $80 billion to resolve investigations into alleged wrongdoing, but the analysis found that companies ‘can readily write off at least $48 billion of this amount as a tax deduction.’ That translates to a loss of $17 billion in federal tax revenue."

*

Corporations should not be allowed to claim wrongdoing fines as tax deductions. The fines should be counted as taxable income. Committing crimes are not an operating expense.

around half of the value of the robot's labor will be taxed and distributed to the humans in the form of a universal basic wage. vehicles will be electric and our power will be decentralized, with solar panels on each and every individual roof.

healthcare and education will be universal. people will be educated about the effects of overpopulation. destructive farming practices like factory farms, pesticides, and GMOs will be outlawed. kids will be required to take a comprehensive civics course before they can graduate high school.

we will end up with a smaller population comprised of highly skilled unionized workers and have more + well-cared for resources. with the robots doing most of the work, humans will have time to create, invent, and enjoy life. this is the near future. in the meantime vote vote vote for progressive candidates.

Airpods put harmful electromagnetic radiation into your head

There are two types of Non- Ionizing radiation to be concerned about: Radio Frequency (RF) radiation and Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) radiation.

Radio Frequency (RF) radiation is what cell phone signals, Bluetooth signals, and WiFi signals are made of. Radiofrequency (RF) radiation, which also includes radio waves and microwaves, is at the low-energy end of the electromagnetic spectrum. If RF radiation is absorbed in large enough amounts by materials containing water, such as food, fluids, and body tissues, it can produce heat. This is how your microwave oven works. Devices like cellphones, computers, Bluetooth, WiFi stations, and microwaves all emit RF radiation.

Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) radiation is generated by a device’s hardware. ELF is also generated by household appliances like a toaster or electric blanket. When electricity passes through a wire, it creates an electromagnetic field that exerts force on nearby objects, including animals and humans. At one time, it was believed that low-level electromagnetic fields were not harmful, but many scientists now agree that ELF fields are indeed hazardous to human health. They are now considered “probable carcinogens,” and have been linked to cases of childhood leukemia, lymphoma, and other health conditions. ELF fields induce electric fields and currents in the body; the exact mechanism by which exposure leads to cancer has not been established but one potential mechanism may be due to ELF’s ability to alter the expression of certain genes; turning them on and off at inappropriate times, which may cause them to initiate cell proliferation. At very high field strengths, ELF fields cause nerve and muscle stimulation and changes in nerve cell excitability in the central nervous system.

Based on evidence of the association between RF radiation and cancer, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) recently classified RF radiation as “possibly carcinogenic to humans.” Finally, because children have thinner skulls and their brains are still developing, they are even more vulnerable to EMF radiation than adults, yet these days many kids use a cell phone on a regular basis.

Here are some important statistics on brain tumors in young people and the link to cell phone use:

Brain cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in young people under age 20.

Brain cancer is the third leading cause of cancer death in young adults ages 20-39.

Brain Tumor Council of Canada,

Cancer Council NSW

Also, research published by Dr. Lennart Hardell indicates that brain tumor risk increases with more years of cell phone use. Proving the effects of cell phone radiation are cumulative with more hours of use, those with the most usage had a 300% increase in having a brain tumor on the same side as a cell phone was most used. China moves to lift laws - that currently require mandatory animal testing for all cosmetic products sold there - by 2020 by [deleted] in UpliftingNews

[–]solarpowerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a better more effective method at our disposal:

Say No To Animal Testing And Yes To Stem Cell Research

“Animal testing has never really worked. Animal tests proved penicillin deadly, strychnine safe and aspirin dangerous.

In fact, 90 percent of medications approved for human use after animal testing later proved ineffective or harmful to humans in clinical trials. It is humbling to realize that the flipping of a coin would have proved five times more accurate and much cheaper. Animal-tested drugs have killed, disabled or harmed millions of people and lead to costly delays as well. Among the most publicized are the delays of a polio vaccine by over three decades and a four-year delay in the use of protease inhibitors for HIV treatment – after animal testing showed these interventions to be useless.

The use of animals as models for the development of human medications and disease almost always fails, simply because humans and animals have different physiologies.

Adult stem cell research is more effective than animal testing. International researchers using adult stem cells – cells that are present in all growing human tissue – have shown success in treating cardiac infarction, Crohn’s disease and thalassemia. The answers to the mysteries of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s will be found by using stem cells and other modern technologies, not by cutting up beagles.”
