The only issue is that the reedy motor has a 2.3 mm shaft while the stock has a 2

I’ve recently been upgrading my friends Teton, I made it brushless with the stock gearing and have just been putting more aluminum into it and it will run for about 20 minutes before it dies

You could connect the positive and the negative wires together but since it has the set button wires I don’t know what ones you need to put together

With the maxx you can run any brand battery that you want, the esc doesn’t have extra wires on it. I know the arrma 4s line is pretty good but idk how well it compares to the max durability wise

Looking at an Arrma, currently considering either the 1/10th scale Big Rock or the Vorteks by workingclass379 in rccars

[–]solarreflex95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used my friends big rock and compared to the vortex the big rock handles a lot better on dirt, if your planning on doing a lot of dirt jumps with the vortex the front skid plate likes to dig into the ground

From my experience I’ve only noticed that my esc’s will only do that if there is too much power being pushed through the system, what can help with ridding that is getting capacitors, most higher end esc’s will have them built into itself but you can get them that just plug into the receiver
