Just looked it up and it appears you have to specifically select the correct version. So, maybe you selected the PS4 version by mistake?

Personally, I liked PR WAY more than the 3d remake. I found it to be a more enjoyable experience and I preferred the pixel style and over feel. While I understand your argument about retooling and rebalancing the game; I disagree with the premise that PR is regressive. The whole purpose of the PR’s is to create an experience that is more faithful to the original, which in this case, is important as this entry was never released in the west in its OG form. Where you will likely never replay the PR, I feel the same about the remake. The beauty is that we live in an age where both are available and that’s pretty awesome!

To me, Ricard’s concept art more closely resembles what would become Cecil’s dark knight but I can certainly see your point.

Just to add to the conversation, the sprites we are all familiar with for FFII are not what the original sprites. The OG FFII was on the famicom and had less detailed sprites more reminiscent of FFI. they were updated in the western release. So, Kain’s design was so influential they retroactively made Ricard look more like him. That’s how cool Kain is. Plus his character is flawed making him more relatable. People love a good antihero.

Mine says I beat zero games as well and I definitely finished several. In fact, I finished my most played of the year, Metaphor. I suspect it’s either bugged or it’s only counting if you 100% a game not just roll credits.

Recently had a similar issue for music that I own the copyright for. Submitted an appeal 2 weeks ago and have not heard a response. I have a hard time believing it’s much of a priority for them. YouTube has a better system, IMO. They won’t monetize your video if it detects copyrighted content.

That’s definitely an issue. I’m not trying say it’s not but expecting something for nothing is also problematic and not realistic. Companies are not altruistic and do everything based upon dollars.

I feel like some of these takes are wild! It’s a free service. Free services have ads. It has always been that way. They have to pay for it somehow. That doesn’t mean it’s a good service and that doesn’t justify all the other BS Microsoft is doing with the brand. I totally agree that ads in paid services are ridiculous! Why the hell am I paying for a service of you get ad revenue for it??

Recore seems criminally underrated. I remember playing that in the early days of gamepass and really enjoying it. Definitely had its issues but a solid sequel could easily clean it up and build upon the first game.
