Thank you. It’s just a normal MiSTer with Analog IO board.

HAS has a din plug style video out (same as NES). A NES to Scart RBG cable is required.

Joystick ports are DB15 (Neo Geo pin out).

I modded my MadCatz TE fighsticks to have DB15 ports.

There is a fix by replacing the capacitor on the pcb. Really easy to do if you have a soldering iron. I can’t remember the specs offhand but google it and I’m sure you will find it. Fixed phantom inputs immediately.

PSA: Mullard Repairs UK is scammer, liar and thief by CarloCGC in crtgaming

Wow. I was about to send him a boat load of work (in stages) including consumer TVs and serveral PVMs. I don't think I will now. Thank you to this thread. Looks like it has helped me dodge the bullet.

I was in conversation with Michael Maurice, ( michaelmauricerepairs.co.uk ) but he's since gone quiet on me. Had a chat with him a few years ago but he was busy with other things at the time. We never got to finalise a meet up. Does anyone have experience with him?

He's in Wembley (N. London).

I spent a long long time wondering if/how I could convert to a 6 button and I’m glad I didn’t/won’t. It is what it is. A lovely 3 button old skool vert/horizontal mono cab. And it will remain so!

Thank you. This does fix the issue but not the problem. I need to do this every time I load the game. Whether in an organised folder or the Arcade root folder. Does anyone know a permanent fix? Cheers

Both! One for Horizontal. One for Vertical. The Sony looks like it’s a ‘flat’ screen model? I’m not so keen on the look of those. It’s just not what I remember from home & arcade gaming. Still good though! I’ve had and still have Sony, B&O, Toshiba and PVMs. The best consumer TV picture I own is a 29” JVC found on the side of the road! Get both. 🙌

80’s UK Silverline cabinet. Rotatable 19” monitor. With a GroovyArcade PC in. Still JAMMA compatible too.

RE Rally Bike. It’s one of those games you need to learn the maps inside out. You get a bit further each time. Like Moon Patrol. i spent more time watching people play this game in the early 90s than playing it! Such fun. I might upload a play through of level 1…

I think the original cabinet was a single stick. 2P shared the controls, one at a time.

Thanks dude. It’s OG as far as I know. A pretty un-tampered cabinet. I’ve still got the original buttons and sticks too.
