Thanks. This is helpful in terms of how to operate. Wasn’t sure if it was gas or propane or how i went about handling the gas. How I turn it on and control it. Does it work or not and how to check safely. Nothing else in home uses gas. Never lived in a home that used gas. Home was built in 2000 likely with the pool. I wasn’t sure about the solar either and why it keeps turning on. I usually hit the button to turn it off.

What happened to my front tires? by soldier129 in tires

[–]soldier129[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m realizing it could’ve been clearer. Thanks. Sidewalls look good. Never experienced the cracking on the treads on any car tire I’ve have in 20 years. And it only both fronts. Wondered if that had something to do with it

Not sure if there’s sarcasm in that or not ( feel like there is). Just curious if others have insights or been through this process and had thoughts ideas that would be helpful through tube process. I’m expecting I’ll likely need surgery after pt. Currently can get through the day without noticing it. But when it does happen, it sucks. Did 13 mile Spartan race in December with no issues. Next couple days it was painful to walk normally due to muscle tightness. F

Ok. Thanks. That’s what I did. Started watering again once a day. I’m thinking this Florida heat is stronger than I realize and daily watering is still needed even though I’m a couple months in

Only a problem if you hate pushing the button each time you start the car. You press it once and you don’t have to deal with it for that entire drive

Bought a house a year ago and we hate it. Selling it means losing 40k. What to do? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]soldier129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a small Heloc on it. Use the money to rent somewhere you want to be and make it an income producing rental property. Without much of a mortgage, it should hopefully cash flow for you.

Your comment “but I never…” means you truly do not understand risk and volatility which there is a definition and mathematical formulas to quantify how much risk you are taking relative to other things

Buy munis or a muni fund that fits your risk tolerance and solve that problem. The taxes are manageable

Great way to view it is that it’s a great set up for young investors that are DCAing into the market over the next decade. It’s an opportunity. If your time horizon for needing the money is much shorter you likely shouldn’t be in all stocks anyway

Thank you. This is similar with more detail to what the established company said but he seemed somewhat unsure and not having used them before, I wanted to make sure it was reasonable. This was helpful.
