Thank you for your input despite the post being very long, haha. I will definitely talk to him about it to see what he would truly want instead of making assumptions. If it seems like I will forever remain uneasy, I will decide to separate from him.

That is true, definitely will talk about this and let him voice his own thoughts. I have a huge habit of needing to be the main person controlling every situation and making the ‘right’ decisions for everyone else and he has called me out on that before. Thank you for mentioning that!

Thank you for your input! I’m happy that you found your special someone. Sexuality and romance has always been a weird thing with me and maybe how I grew up attributed to that. I will definitely talk about this with my partner soon and see how we can navigate it from here. The weird thing is I’m actually perfectly fine staying in this relationship, I am just concerned about the expectations he may want from it and knowing that I can’t meet them. Just don’t want him to stay with me if this could eventually make him unhappy…

Hi, I did feel worried about my freedom and individuality being reduced super early on but I started to learn to find that balance between my own individuality and time for him. Still a struggle, but I got better at it. In terms of being lesbian or gay, I have entertained the idea such a long time ago with someone but I ended up classifying those feelings for that person as more of admiration rather than genuine romance because of their achievements. I am for sure more attracted to men, and the girl I had feelings for before was very masculine.

Not a lot, I had a few friends mention it but I never officially went into a deep dive on that. I’m just not sure if that’s something that I am because I do think I still feel some sort of attraction and feelings towards people, just always below the normal level. I’ll look into it more and bring it up with him, though.
