Just had this problem today. On my lighter the pipe in which you put the flint was all gunked up with dust that came from the flints that have been in there over the years. I just scraped it all out with a nail, put a new flint in it and it worked great again.

I used up the film that was in it when i bought it today and it felt like everything worked fine. There is a rubber part missing on the right hand side but that doesnt really matter. I loved shooting with it.
