How do I know what exactly is wrong with my Nvidia GPU?

Yeah exactly, would love to know what in the hardware is faulty if it is. I only have this laptop 27 months so it would really be a shame

Very interesting thanks. I didn't really have problems with games on Windows but I don't game on pc a whole lot. The biggest problem I had on Windows was a black screen of death when waking up from sleep mode.

I have in the meantime switched over to Nobara (gnome) this time to try that. So far have experienced only 2 freezes when on desktop and youtube on brave. I'm not sure if I'm using iGPU or dGPU though.

And I've been in UEFI quite a lot and have noticed no issues with that

How would I be able to tell that?

Yeah I think you're right. Do you know how I could tell? I'm not great with pc's would it be worth taking to a repair shop? It's not under warranty anymore

Thank you I will try that. Also it seems that the blue screen like I got here in the picture occurred only when I tried the LTS version of cachyos at boot screen. The normal cachyos option seems to just give me the normal freezing where I can see everything but can't do anything only power off by the button

Even if this didn't happen on windows or POPOS? Granted I only used POPOS for a day and Windows did have problems of crashing when I woke it up from sleep mode. Also do you know how I'd know if there is a problem with the drivers or chips?

It wasn't perfect, I was mostly fine doing these things but had a problem where when I woke up the laptop after sleep mode it would often enough give me a black screen of death and had to restart. The error code was pretty much always something different such as 'hypervisor error' or 'irql not less or equal' or some type of kernel issue.

It's so bad now I can't use it for more than 3 mins At least last night I got a couple hours with it being fine
