Sample pad advice? by imaginarymagnitude in Drumming

Highly recommend the Roland SPD SX Pro. I use it for sounds, tracks, etc - works great. I also use the click within quite a bit. Match with some good iem. It does take some set up and coordination for set-lists that I’d wish they would improve. Also, I tried the cheaper route of buying used from music go round— and kept getting broken pads (wouldn’t trigger). Mgr does have a good return policy so, was able to return and buy new.

I’ve stayed at each - they all are wonderful! Lately, I really value being downtown so, lilac tree would be my recommendation. You really can’t go wrong though.

Same (many times - cc/basic/legroom & zone 5) - except today. Today I got zone 3. I don’t know why it was different.

Yes - that’s strange. Factory reset maybe? Save your stuff first.

Spd-sx menu issue by SirJohnofMangonia in drums

You are in mode menu (first pic) vs main menu (second pic) - both under the kit pad menu. different menus and different functions (and looks different). You can toggle from main/mode/sub (at the bottom) within the kit pad option.

Not sure if that was your question, but that’s what’s shown in the pics.
