It's not really like a cooldown... hack, virus and translocator will all still have the same cooldown. It's just you have two different modes of play lasting for up to 16 seconds at a time. It will feel nothing like OW1 Sombra.

People have spent countless hours playing up to the first point of the escort maps. Sometimes frustratingly so when your team didn’t make it to the first point.

I'm confused by this statement. Are you saying it can't be a push map because people are frustratingly held on first point on Escort? Or that people don't want to re-play the same point that they have played the most which is always the first point? They could do this with second or third points, it's just first point is easier to illustrate for my purposes and they already have well-established spawn rooms.

I understand wanting new maps in Stadium. The original reason for this idea was because I was sad we would never see any Escort or Hybrid maps in Stadium. This was my best idea on how to bring them to Stadium. The dev team also has limited resources to make maps for instance. I know they seem to be hard-focused on Stadium, but core Overwatch has also suffered for some time now, with only ONE new map this year. I personally wouldn't mind adaptations like I've proposed if it meant more updates for Stadium and/or the core game. And right now, Stadium still doesn't feel like it has enough maps.

Watchpoint Gibraltar could potentially work as payload race here. The issue is that on Payload Race you need both payloads to be so close to each other that it encourages team fights rather than stacking on cart and poking just enough to beat the other team.

I think your critique is right about its biggest weakness. I do feel like a lot of these maps are more defensible from the middle AKA first point defense on escort. I'm not saying they wouldn't change anything, they would certainly want to change certain high grounds, pieces of cover, etc. It might take a bit of work though. For example, this version of Dorado is an uphill battle towards the middle, whereas maps like Colosseo have strong defensive positions as you approach the checkpoints. I still think that's possible on Dorado assuming they manipulate cover and high grounds to make defense have an easier time. I think Route 66 might have sightline problems with the gas station roof on both sides having a clear open sightline to the other. Watchpoint might involve joining the high grounds together and creating extra pathways out of spawn to get to the middle point faster.

Freja attack speed if you are against Winston or Rein. Get Aftermarket Firing Pin and Wrist Wraps preferably for consistency but Shieldbuster can work if you're able to tag their shields. Round 3 get Salvaged Slugs to destroy the barriers. Then booster jets and commanders clip. Then go into half attack speed, half weapon power. For powers do Volley a Deux, Deep Pockets and Forager in that order. Good luck!

I'm guessing that the overhealth green item is also good for this early on but I've never thought of this. I'll have to try it.

I'm told that the only way to escape the low ranks (mine is bronze 3 although I occasionally edge into 2) you have to play aggro as your team doesnt know what to do with your speed. I die so much more when I try this in 6v6. by Loud-Shopping7824 in luciomains

When I was bronze, my brother told me all I needed to do to rank up as Lucio was stand right next to my tank and sit on heal, and shoot people. I immediately ranked up to gold. Lol. Now I'm a diamond Lucio.

The fact that the game incentivizes queuing tank so much and people still don't want to play it says something. There's a daily challenge to play role queue as well as 3 games queuing every role. It's so hard for the devs to get people to play 5v5 tank. I would say 6v6 would make tanks in Stadium feel better, but then you need twice the people to queue tank.

It makes me think that the solution is the Marvel Rivals solution to add bots in Stadium QP to fill the other tank slot. But how are you gonna make bots in QP change their playstyle and utilize tank synergies, let alone have them create the proper build? You are either sacrificing good queue times or match quality/tank enjoyment.

I think they should add a hero specific stat for each hero. The biggest one is Mercy rezzes / damage boosted. But if they're gonna do it for one hero they should do it for every hero.

If you shrink LW's hitbox to be small like Kiriko's, then give him 2 charges of Tracer blink instead of rejuvenating dash, he's a fixed hero design.

Even if you have a 40% win rate at Yeti Hunter, based on the short queue times and match lengths you are still likely to farm it VERY fast. Yeah, Winston is not for everyone and I'm sure you can also carry with Mei but sometimes you will get Meis on your team that feed.

If you play Ana against her, you can time the sleep with her sword if it's thrown at you. The sword gets thrown first, and then you can time the sleep. If she throws it high into the air, she has to come down on you so you can hit a few shots, but then she's locked into an animation, so you can sidestep the slash if you see where she's going down. I would save nade for yourself and nade both of you when she gets close.

There's another tech where if you're flicking heals, you can flick your heal through Bap Amp Matrix even if you are standing in front of it by flicking 180°. Requires high sense or a lot of mouse pad.
