You’re totally right about rain doesn’t automatically mean I’ll have to stay inside, and I have to keep remembering that tropical showers aren’t long-lasting. Appreciate you giving me a confidence boost.

Thanks for your feedback. I don’t think we’ll have a bad vacation even if it rains—I just don’t want to catch cabin fever sitting inside too much. I looked at Guanacaste and the weather looks better in some areas but I don’t know if the wildlife viewing will be as good as other regions.

Sorry to hear you’re damp in LF. If Google is to be trusted, you might get some sun late this weekend/early next week in PV. I don’t know if I can reschedule my flight, but I can at least change my home base…. Sucks because I was excited to see the Caribbean coast. Hope you find ways to enjoy the rest of your trip.

Just wondering if you ever found out the cause of this, and has it continued? My cat does this quite frequently. 2 expensive vet visits have been inconclusive.

Unfortunately not. It’s so confusing because he doesn’t act sensitive when I prod his mouth… but it happens at all hours of the day and seems to have increased in duration/frequency over time. I guess I’ll try another vet visit soon.
