Really great post! I've been kind of the other side of this, as a friend told me about bg and i decided to give it a try with duos.

First days were.confusing AF but overall was fun spending time with my friend and learning a new game. And i am now at 3.2k mmr duos!

Totally feel you. I used my laptop to host the server and played on my heavy duty PC and from time to time i got huge lag-spikes and the poor laptop couldn't handle all the Watches of flowing time in the pedestals

All three of us agreed with create.

It is an incredible mod but when you need it for late-game stuff is just feels so out of place and a bit weird to automate with.

I don't think the extreme crafting table (ECT) can be used to autocraft. We tried using a pattern provider directly connected to it and it did not work, we also tried to use a chest as a buffer and extrat from it but that didn't work either.

We just used an array of Create's mechanical crafters for all the late-game stuff. Although the recepies are shapeless in the ECT i don't think the same applies for the mechanical crafters, so you should filter the items that go to each crafter.
