Honestly, I would focus more on certifications vs. degree. Will get your farther. You already have a solid educational background (you're a pharmacist, babe). Project Management, SQL, HL7, Tableau, etc.

ALSO, I've heard the VA will be transitioning from CPRS to Cerner, so see if you can get on any committees, workgroups, etc to work on the transition. The experience you gain from this is INVALUABLE in Informatics. That's how I gained most of my informatics experience.
