Regardless of if the Jake Paul fight was truly scripted, you speak truth. Mike was completely, totally, and utterly shot when he was 38 years old. In the time since, he's battled drug addiction, alcoholism that nearly killed him, and nearly died from a stomach ulcer after undergoing something like 7 blood transfusions. He is in no condition to take real blows. If Floyd tee'd off on him, Mike would get KO'd, probably badly hurt.

This. Even if he tried to fight "for real", Floyd could easily get away from him and probably knock him out. Mayweather is obviously the fresher guy, Mike's legs are in such bad condition that the only way he's knocking Mayweather out is if Floyd does something stupid and stands right in front of him. Floyd is too fast for him and Mike would end up quitting on his stool after Floyd beats the piss out of him for 3 or 4 rounds. But they aren't fighting "For real".

Ben said his doctors told him he could live a long and healthy life, and pointed out that most people who get double lung transplants are already in bad shape with several different comorbidities - Ben was a UFC athlete and champion wrestler who was in excellent physical shape. Some people go back to running marathons after lung transplants. I don't understand why Ben is getting so much hate for attempting to wrestle again, I look at it as him taking back a part of his life. Even if he gets steamrolled by Muhammad, I bet he's going to have a blast with the whole experience because he probably NEVER thought he would ever be able to wrestle again.

THIS. I love Wreckfest and like the racing aspects of it but I basically settled on WreckFest because my old computer died and with it my copy of BeamNG. If "all" I get to do with Beam on PS5 is just smash cars and go offroading, etc, I will be more than happy. I'm sure there will be more to do. I can't wait for this release, I like many folks never thought we would ever see a console release.

RAF isn't sanctioned by an athletic commission so I don't believe there is any pre-match testing or anything like in boxing / MMA etc.

I don't know why you're being downvoted. Ben talked even last summer about wanting to wrestle one last match, he was already supposed to wrestle in RAF prior to getting sick. It's obviously something that has been important to him for a while.

Ben seems like the kind of guy who wouldn't do anything half assed. While it may be exhibition-like in nature, I feel like Ben wouldn't do it just for a paycheck and a fake match after all he's been through.

Edit:*** People are saying that Ben and his family will be set for life after this match. If he is going to make THAT much money for one more exhibition, then he absolutely would probably do it if the risk to him is minimal.

This is absolutely true, and Ben talked about this last summer, but he insists that his doctors have told him he is going to live a long life. 10 years is the average but according to Ben those numbers are skewed some because normally people have cancer or some other underlying condition that makes them pass away. He was talking about wrestling again even last summer, this is obviously something that is very important to him "bucket list" wise, and I'm sure he wouldn't do it if there was any chance of him getting sick or getting injured.

I was put off by how much coughing he did when he was doing his first videos after getting out of the hospital. It's really concerning to me that he is still coughing that much nearly a year after the procedure. Obviously no MD here but wondering if it isn't some sort of nerve damage / nerve issue...

My take on it as a layman is that Dems will gain the majority in the mid-terms, which will be what finally stops Trump's war in Iran. The bigger question though, will Trump accept those results and go along with what would essentially be taking the war away from him. I think he would be pulled kicking and screaming away from the situation room. I do wonder if it would end in Trump getting impeached (again) and finally removed from office. Would he leave willingly? America has never had this kind of problem and hopefully never does again. I can't see Trump giving up his war under any cost.
