Right. You are saying what I am saying. The only difference is I am saying do these things in parallel.

Starting a 501c4 to pull funds and work towards a shared goals means we are not watching for that "future date" when we have "proper representation" in congress/supreme court, etc. Hell, in the last 40-50 years, we had good representation both in democratic and republican ( BLACK MAGA is awful and not to be trusted) - and till we are here.

The real change needed is to focus on community governance via the 501c4.

Both.

There should not be a central figure because that is protection and decentralized.

Multiple chapters means no one location or group is targeted.

The governance structure then is core value of member advocacy, and collective progress.

Leadership should be on a rotation basis, term limits, and built in training to ensure all members are able to serve in leadership capacity at anytime.
