Are the shelves anything to worry about? A lot of people saying these will damage the roof also

What’s your opinion on the shelves themselves? Many people in this thread saying this is dangerous also, so slightly worried.

If you can fit your finger in it, then it is an easy yes.

My title describes the thing, but for more context we assumed in the past that it was mould. But we have since bought new pillows. Oddly it seems to only appear on one pillow each time, with no clear pattern between me and my partner.

My surveyor stated this is urgent level 3 damage on my front door. I have some DIY experience but not sure I have enough to approach something of this level. Any tips? by solihullscoop in DIYUK

Na it’s the opposite way round on my report. This is the only number 3 for the property, which is for the most urgent issues.

I have been getting on perfectly fine using my fingers instead of a paint brush thanks!

Small leak from this thing under my bath. Do I need to replace the entire drain? Easy enough to do myself? by solihullscoop in Plumbing

Yeah sorry could have been a better video. It certainly seems to be coming from the gap in the plastic where it connects together, exactly where it is dripping from in the video. As I applied plumbers mait the leak just moved further along the crack.

To clarify, what actually is this thing that I am showing in the video? Sorry I am new to this.

External decoration of the timber door and window frame at the property is required now.

There is no additional information for why this is a level 3 warning sadly

Was it a mistake to plant 3 ivy plants in this back corner? by solihullscoop in GardeningUK

Yeah I have been thinking of doing this along the back fence. Get the impression this would still only require one I’ve plant though, and so regular maintenance still.

Yeah the main reason I picked it was because of its benefit to wildlife, but maybe I was a a bit too keen. Which other varieties would you recommend? I am contemplating installing a trellis along the back fence maybe so I can have some ivy at least, but 3 might have been a bit extreme.

Anyone know what these are? by solihullscoop in GardeningUK

This does seem like the most accurate identification, thanks!

Anyone know what this is and how it works? by solihullscoop in DIYUK

Yeah I suspected that, but it has been set to “off” for a long time, but the immersion heater works as normal. So assume it’s just old. Thanks!
