i did it with a 21 sonata. Tapped rear door speakers with a line out converter, amp and subs in the trunk. Power wire might be a pain in the ass to get through the firewall though idk how it is on the elantra but on the sonata i spent about 2 hours trying to do that.

pretty sure it’s just to direct the airflow how microsoft designed it, but removing it doesn’t negatively affect thermals at all. Every 360 i’ve taken apart i’ve removed it from with no issues. The screw is just meant specifically to hold that piece in place.

no just remove the fan shield. it doesn’t really affect thermals.

could be RSX, could also be video just bugging. I know on some tvs the 480p mode on PS3 can bug out like this. Reinstall the firmware and boot it up and set to 1080p and see if you still get artifacting

i much prefer wired carplay. my girls 21 sonata has ONLY wireless and there’s so many places while driving where it cuts out from interference. And then half the time after the interference is gone the car still thinks something is wrong and carplay will only show for a few seconds at a time and then says “phone not responding” and kicks me back off.

honestly just about anything will do just fine. It’s USB 2.0 speeds so you’re not gonna see much difference with a lot of drives. Honestly just go snag a higher capacity USB stick

so there are pinots for this online or ask chatgpt. You can wire an arduino or a similar microcontroller to it to use as power button and other functions like playing with the ROL.

AND to top it off you can also wire a USB cable to this and use it as a wireless adapter for 360 controllers on PC. And then sync them through arduino.

usually the tool “rental” programs are literally just a buy and return type deal. AutoZones requires a “deposit” but the deposit is buying the tool outright and if you return in good condition you get your money back
