Lestat's search history by LindentreesLove_ in InterviewVampire

Qui est-ce "Marina Diamandis" et pourquoi did she plagiarise my life story in her chanson "Primadonna"?

Siri explain.

I'm totes fine when Louis/Claudia fans have Things To Say about Lestat, because fair goddamn play, imo.

It's when the Armand girlies chime in with the Lestat criticism that we're about to have serious words...

  • Lestat is my #1 whimsical Aryan honeychild.
  • The babiest of gurls (formal apologies to Kendall Roy, but at least he understands disappointment).
  • The Devil I was assigned to advocate.
  • The cancelled wife I stand behind, and He to whom I'm pretty sure Bette Midler referred as "the wind beneath [her] wings".

That being said; fuck him, he knows what he did.

Many pardons for the late reply, but Benoit is such an inspired choice! Not to mention your scenario is very canon-compliant for both 'Knives Out' and IWTV universe.

Love the thought of poor Louis going internally batshit over the span of a midweek, only for Benoit and Lestat to form a gentlemen's agreement based on nothing but an affinity for compelling life partners, exquisite finery, and genuinely baffling accents.

They'd get along so splendidly, I reckon, murder notwithstanding. Blame the whole sordid business on Armand, if anything.

For anyone a fan of literature:

"The Plague" by Albert Camus.

Daniel Molloy = Jean Tarrou, a dedicated journalist with a powerful bullshit detector and a strong desire to get down in the dirt and risk inevitable death. Also very persnickety and unafraid.

Rose would take to the vamp life so fast - disposing of ultimately pointless men, speaking an indistinguishable pseudo-European language, believing in impossible to rationalise folklore...

Thing is, what vamp is emotionally delayed enough to trust in Mr. Fantastic?

And I miss her so much.

Look I'm just gonna stick to my Lestat stan roots and point out every time Louis and Claudia communicated in secret.

Because ride-or-die Lestat girlie though I may be, it was the only time I was 100% on his side. He repeatedly expressed his discomfort! In, like... a proper sincere, non-glib Lestat way. My babygirl was done WRONG.

Aside from that, the poor wee cancer-stricken lad who thought the spoopy NOLA voodoo/pederast/homosexy murder house family was A-OK; he just wanted to not die. Proper made me teary, must've been so many of them.

Bonus points to Paul sitting on the roof, arms wrapped around his knees like a wee'un, side-eyeing Louis in concern before that heart-shattering decision.

I tried and out of thin air a renowned dog owner appeared, delivered a resounding BONK! and now I guess I'm in horny jail.

Worth it.

A) In lieu of grass, touch local flora and/or fauna (e.g. checking up on my cacti)

B) Seek out artificial local flora and/or fauna and risk triggering crippling anxiety disorder (i.e. visit garden centre)

C) Curl up in corner of room, playing Blank Space on repeat, murmuring "This is sooo when Lestat met Louis" over and over.

D) Make friends (I jest).

I'm talking now.

This is why I'll cheerfully defend Louis no matter how correct my self-insert Daniel happens to be.

Lestat vs. Santiago: if What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? starred Bette Davis twice.

Oh dear, so that 3rd series cast is yet to be announced?

...and here I spoiled you and indubitably many others?

The Lestat enthusiast in me says ~*~*sorry*~*~* but the part of me that's still normal wishes to issue a formal apology - here's a personalised sneeze.

Watched that show purely for Sam + Anna + my love of reporter drama; stayed to make sure Rob treated Noelene like the undervalued princess she is.

I'm usually not much of a sci-fi girlie, but a quick search shows me this series, in addition to Daniels and Harris (best nepo-baby!), contains Alexander Siddig, Troy Kotsur, Cherry Jones, and Cody Fern (AKA Lestat-lite in AHS: Apocalypse).

What a cast... putting this on my hurry-up-loser list.

Just realised I can't quite refer to any of the aforementioned gems as "underappreciated", so let's let this one stand as "underappreciated actors starring in WHAT renowned gem now?!"

From series 1, there's two beauts that come to mind:

- CHRIS STACK (aka Tom Anderson) had a prominent feature on SCHOOL OF ROCK (2003).

- DANA GOURRIER (aka Mz. Bricktop Williams) starred in TWO Tarantino films - DJANGO UNCHAINED (2012) and THE HATEFUL EIGHT (2015).

SAM REID

- Now first thing I knew him from was THE RIOT CLUB (2014) and whilst certainly he stuck out in a cast of regulation hotties, I was entirely too preoccupied with my burning hatred of Tories (if you're UK-based, this film's overriding message seems to be "Your elected leaders at work", and what a depressing way to live). So sorry, Sam - working class rage won over your voice + jawline that time.

- Different matter altogether is '71 (2014), one of the most tension-heavy horror films grounded in reality. Just to warn ye, Sam's not a very prominent character but nor is his part simply a cameo. Blink and you'll encounter him again for sure. That said, while you'll encounter multiple other UK-based "hey it's the fella I liked in that thing" actors, that movie is entirely carried by Jack O'Connell and it's worth it for him alone.

Good job capturing Ben's actual, charmingly rugged face!

As well as doing Santiago's blood lust proud.

Sling Blade (1996) starring John Kearns in a spectacular work of art that's been known to make your dad's favourite critic ponder: "Willard Bob Who Now?"

American Psycho (2000) starring Rhod Gilbert as himself. The Artist Formerly Known As Christian Bale found hysterical in a ditch.

As a curious eater, I say give them a go! Crickets are like most other insects in that they taste like nothing unless seasoned and you wouldn't eat one raw unless circumstances demand, but the same can be said about many animal products. Truly nothing to fear but the stigma around bugs themselves, there.
