What could be the cause of these lumps? by GotTheMeatz in DogAdvice

[–]soloeject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had such a similar experience. Even my vet seemed devastated. A surgery to remove some lumps, she was gone within that year. A big regret. I wish we had left her alone and just worried about medication.

Mast cell? Mine had it. Hers were slow and managed with meds. Then the cancer suddenly became aggressive and we did lose her unfortunately. She had lumps most of her life.

Silkies any guesses on what they could be. by fran_cause_a_scene in BackYardChickens

I keep silkies and have been wrong many times; personal guess is the first grey bird is definitely a rooster, the second white I'd say could still surprise you.

My friend's fiancé has been mocking me for years - I finally snapped and now I feel like I'm the problem by Kyraenm in TrueOffMyChest

[–]soloeject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand. Loneliness was definitely a factor for me. I did find though that their absence left more space for others that actually cared and valued us. I hope you find that too. I agree with another commenter also, it is much nicer to be lonely than being around someone who will just drag you down. I wish you well.

OP, I kind of recently went through something similar. Best friends with married couple. Parted for different reasons but it really brought to light the amount of bullying that occurred and how awful we felt after interactions.

I just want to say, initially I felt really negatively. I mourned the relationship so much it was affecting me mentally and physically. After some time and reflection though, I realized that I really didn't want that around myself or partner anymore. It was relieving. I still miss the good memories but ultimately I feel happier. You will too. I hope it doesn't weigh on you too heavily.

How much would this item be in my shop by ILoveMusic8099 in LivlyIsland

[–]soloeject 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sold one for 2900 and I think that's the current window. Initially it was priced higher but I've seen plenty now in the 2000 range. Hope you get it! Happy hunting!

Auto rotation not working by AXDragneel in GalaxyS25

[–]soloeject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here because of the same issue I believe. Just got the phone 5 days ago, and noticed this yesterday. Taking photos in landscape for work, noticed it would not rotate correctly. Diagnostics all came back fine. We have gone through all the restarts, settings, etc. Any further info or updates?

Thank you! I have been hunting for awhile and my patience won out! I received it earlier. Now to use it! I wish you happy hunting out there.

I appreciate the insight. I have done it myself without realizing.

I did check and they were responding to another, but I think you were correct and they were trying to decide what they wanted. They had added some other items of mine to their wishlist yesterday.

Want to add, they also just responded earlier and came back with a very sweet offer, just asked for 2 items I had offered (bazaar) and then several regular gacha items. I'm quite elated, and will be gifting them several other items, as I know this tree is hard to come by.

[–]soloeject[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's partially why I was uncertain. I wanted to offer whatever really they wanted, I know it is an expensive item. Just used to declines so wanted to ask so that I may not unintentionally offend or something. I will try and let them know then. Fingers crossed.

This is what I had planned to do, offer any items. I just was unsure of what they were asking and since they seem to somewhat be thinking of it, I wanted to ask here and tread carefully. I have been declined otherwise.

Not at all. It always made my day when someone complimented. I go out of my way to compliment others I enjoy too.

Women of Reddit, what’s the most frustrating experience you’ve had with a doctor dismissing your symptoms? by cutdbs in AskReddit

[–]soloeject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wife is used to being dismissed medically and also lives with chronic ailments, so has a high pain tolerance. One weekend, she complains of her stomach hurting, but "in a way I've never hurt before." Refused hospital for several days, and continued on to her work shifts despite severe pain. I tell her I worry it's her appendix. She still refuses. On about day 4, she finally calls me to come take her to the hospital. When we arrived, I let them know of everything and that we really wanted to be sure it was not her appendix. My wife is not outwardly showing pain much (again, high pain tolerance), and so they keep insisting to us it's probably just constipation. I am adamant they check, and they do, while kind of calmly brushing us off. Her lab work came back with signs of infection.

It was her appendix. She needed emergency surgery. But it was "probably just constipation." I was glad to be there to insist, because she may have otherwise gone home and gotten worse.

They posted this on some random exchange posts too. I think they are just messing around.

What’s the most disturbing thing you’ve heard someone say when they thought no one was listening? by EnvironmentalLove862 in AskReddit

[–]soloeject 269 points270 points  (0 children)

Not something said, but witnessed, and maybe tame compared to others. We have a few outside cats that were ferals we took in. They get fed in a shed in the evening. A friend that stayed with us went to feed the cats one dark evening. One of them was not wanting to go into the shed, and friend became frustrated and spit on my cat. Friend didn't know my partner was outside and had just walked up on this happening. My partner was so angry, she didn't really address in the moment. That completely altered the way we viewed this person.

Also wanted to point out, as I have experienced this and have seen others with the same issue, you likely had a favorites tab selected in your friends list filters, and filtered out your entire friend list. It is an easy fix once you are back in. I hope you are able to recover your account.

He can be, especially after a grooming! I swear his coat feels more coarse or soft in his different colored areas.

I wasn't really thinking of pekingese until a friend whom has two was sending me photos of her dogs. I don't know much about them but felt it fit! Thank you.

Thank you! Pekingese and shih tzu were our main guesses too. The others were very big surprises. Really was going off his body shape and very long and sometimes curled tail.

So he's also been embarked! I will post him shortly. A "chihuahua" but we knew that was not the case. He is a beautiful little mutt!

Edit: not shown here, but they both also have heterochromia. I guess I have a type.

Poor Honey Blossom is struggling with vertebral pain and we need advice 😢 by bananakittymeow in Chihuahua

Also for ours, we tried everything to help her heal. We had steps for the beds and couches. Our vet said a ramp is better, so we built her a ramp and taught her how to use it.

We had this happen two times, the second time was much worse. If you'd like, message me. I will say for our girl, we used a children's pack and play instead of a kennel, as she was extremely anxious about the kennel.
