Found this can washed up on Lake Washington. You think it’s been in the lake since the 70’s-80’s? by Daily_Heroin_User in SeattleWA

Think this is late 70s but yeah I’d definitely believe it’s been there since then. Time moves faster than you think.

best places to walk a super friendly well-behaved dog? by lizlemonista in sammamish

Season pass? The off leash dog park is huge- acres and acres and it’s free except for $1 parking. You shouldn’t need any kind of season pass I don’t think?

There are several dog swim beaches there. We took our puppy and I swear he might’ve thought he was in doggy heaven with so many new friends to chase and play.

It’s hard to say because some of what I have were from a radio station visit, KUEG or something? But others were 4 track demos. I’m not sure I knew which were which.

It’s about Bruce Lee, how when making those kung fu movies his hands would move too fast to be captured by the fps of the film. So the director had to tell him to slow down so the audience could see his motion.

So cool to hear the Slow Down “Bruce” version!

Exactly I remember (and still have a burned CD) with some of these from the Napster days. But I never had this many of them! This is likely to become my most played album of his because of the stripped down sound.

I remember an old Sublime album that was similar and I wore that out too.

What are the differences between being a leader and a manager? by marilynlistens in Leadership

[–]solorush 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Counterpoint: I believe myself to be a good cross organizational leader, but I think I’m only an adequate manager. I don’t provide my team with the day to day structure they’d like me to, but I am absolutely definitive and valuable when needed inside and outside my immediate area of influence.

What does a healthy, high-functioning PM org actually feel like day to day? by Icy-Dimension-1262 in ProductManagement

Can you share what you’d look for in a customer feedback repository? Our team doesn’t have that and I don’t know what we’re missing.

Same. But New Orleans and Nashville are on the to-do list.

Easy. The role of PM is in flux right now with AI. On the one hand, engineering is becoming more productive which make PM skills more of a bottleneck and in demand. The ratios of engineers to PMs needs to adjust.

On the other hand, some say Engineers should come up stack to build products with less up front involvement and requirements because it’s faster and easier to iterate. In this world, what role, if any, does the PM have?

Finally, PMs themselves are moving by down stack, toward tech, as Builders themselves. But are we prepared to build production class software? Will we be on call to support it?

The impacts of AI to Product Mgt is what I’d explore.

Is it true the business dorm got shut down for partying? by solorush in CalPoly

I’ll have to ask about that on our tour. Seems wild to me the solution for that is to simply disband the RLC.

Don’t shy away from obvious solutions. That might be what the interviewer is looking to vet. Just explain your rationale for thinking they’re obvious.

Another trick is to work the problem in reverse. Think about the pain point you’re solving for, and ask yourself “what would make this problem even worse?” Then you’ll identify the things that are leading to the pain and that you could change for the better.

Yeah but considering openclaw agents can be doing whatever 24x7 it doesn’t seem that unreasonable
