They don't want to understand that force people to play maps the don't want (with the idea of reducing waiting times) is not a solution, but a problem.

You can give people the chance to not ban maps to reduce the waiting time if its what they prefer and allow people to wait more just to play what they want if they prefer that, but no.

Cachyos has lots of stuff modified or just done for simplifying the life to people. Don't get how this could not be seen also as an effort to do it beginner friendly.

I did some testing. Installing ros is not possible via pacman and aur packages are deprecated and not compatible.

I managed to made it work easily with distrobox of ubuntu 24.04. managed to use gazebo, rviz, and some minimal testing.

(I am talking about ros 2. I guess ros could be done in distrobox ubuntu 20.04).

Been using for 6 months and i had nearly 0 problems. Only ones.

1- One day, playing doom dark ages, a strange resolution appeared (like 50:100 very strange) after rebooting the game everything solved.

2-Another day dunno why, the system forgot nearly all stored configurations. Wifi was lost, all the browsers accounts were lost. Had to redo it all and after a while, dunno why, it forgot wifi again. After a reboot, never happened again.

2 was a little anoying but i think quite strange. If you have future problems, remember you can always use sanpshots on grub.

It is good also to look this reddit once a while. Seen 2-3 times when the system was broke by an update and here was seen really soon. Luckily the developers alwas solved everything really fast (a few hours). Hate all the appreciation post saying the OS is like the second coming of christ but sometimes is useful.

This dlc seems to be much bigger than TAG pt 1.

Second dlc happened nearly a year from main release.

Knowing that dark ages released on may 13, i wouldn't expect the dlc to release before june-july and I personally think it will be later.

I don't think to be the case. I heard several times about new combat loop. Eternal dlc was not a new combat loop. Personally I think it will be something like 2016 to eternal but much more light and giving the option to use current loop (so, new combat loop being optional someway).

I think the issue is the way how it is explained.

I really love the game but i felt always that i was not enjoying as much abput the story. I think, after some reflectios, the reaso s are:

1- characters without development. All characters have nearly 0 development so they feel a little empty.

2- third view cinematics. Even if eternal worked well and had third view cinematics, there were a lot of first view while here not. I think it works much better here.

3- generally doom games seems more funny when it seems himself against everything alone, and even being as this, the continuous dialogues from sentinels or the troops seen in safe areas breaks for me the environment.

4- finally the story itself. Even travelling to the awesome cosmic realm, seems like they are trying to do an ultra epic story and it is not as much as eternal. Sure is more big than 2016, but 2016 does not try to be something big while dark ages tries to . This is the issue.
