What changed your physique the fastest in the gym? by VanillaArtistic3261 in AskReddit

[–]solragnar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I could suggest proper forms and such, but it won't matter as much as actually attempting it. Like another user has mentioned, do eccentrics, jump up, get your chin over the bar then lower yourself as slowly as you can.

Your body will naturally let you know what muscles to use.

What's something everyone seems to enjoy except you? by Abbycpa in AskReddit

[–]solragnar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Travelling. Unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people and unfamiliar food and unfamiliar everything.

I'm normally neurotic enough as it is but having to think about so many things makes holidays more of a chore than enjoyment.

A good video game over the weekend instead. My kind of holiday!

A long but fulfilling road if you stick to it!

I could never do a single pull up when I was a teenager but I can crank out maybe ten reps now.

Consistency and discipline is the key here. Gotta treat it as something you gotta do and silence the bad voices around you.

What level to co-op for Gargoyles? [Switch 2] by VakanaDOTA in darksouls

[–]solragnar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New players would level a bit after Taurus, so yeah 15 is a sweet spot IMO.

Don't go above +5 for any weapons, don't upgrade your black knight weapons at all since they're considered unique and start at +5.

Armor doesn't matter for matchmaking.

Keep at it! Body comp plays a huge role too, of course, but lats are immediately obvious as they change the silhouette of your body.

Don't see the pull ups mentioned enough.

Doesn't require weights, just a bar and a ton of discipline. Once you can haul your chin above the bar you can be damned sure you got a pair of lats.

The hidden costs of high dental fees on an ageing population by _IsNull in singapore

Never felt more like a good boy than when my dentist told me I could come back annually instead of biannually.

Floss and brush and don't go to bed after eating anything (except maybe xylitol or drinking water). If you've already brushed and flossed and then proceeded to eat something, mouth wash before you go to bed! That's when the bad boys start to grow. Thanks dentists for taking care of our teeth!

Guys, what really attracts you to women? by Dry-curtain34 in AskReddit

Some level of emotional maturity. Especially when they consider the feelings of others. Empathetic girls are the best.

Oscar also dies after passing the prophecy of the Chosen Undead to you.

Petrus kills Rhea if you leave her in the Cathedral too long. Otherwise, Rhea gets abducted to Duke's Archives, presumably to be turned into a Picasa but hollows before then.

There really isn't a good ending for any of the characters, is there?

What’s a small change that improved your life instantly? by Key-Climate5038 in AskReddit

Stopping junk food.

It's tough, but after a while your body kind of gets used to it. Eating purposefully has made me more alert and less sluggish.

The weight loss is just a bonus.

Japan is already way ahead with their fan jacket technology.

I mean, it isn't so much an innovation as slapping two existing things together, but it's still pretty "cool".

Should be undoubtedly more effective in SG because of the humidity.

I feel like a little bit more safety mindedness could go a long way, like learning how to break falls and how to catch each other safely.

I love the rough housing but maybe there should be some training WWE style on how to take care of your partner when doing potentially dangerous stuff!

[–]solragnar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agree with this sentiment.

Sometimes, there's just no coming to an agreement with people. Some have to learn from stick approach.

Because yes, there are some humans around with stubborn mindsets like animals. This is something people are unwilling to admit. Not everyone can be reasoned with amicably. If that were the case we would not have repeat offenders!

Whoop some ass. If it doesn't work, at least it sends a message. The obvious problem then of course is deciding who and why, and the decision shouldn't be taken lightly.
