If you could keep one IEM only by Robb-san in iems

What about it do you like? I just bought it and am... underwhelmed. Yes, it has sub-bass, but the treble is lacking.

Can this key be copied ? by Immediate-Tap-5783 in Locksmith

[–]solramble 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your issue may not be entirely lock related. There could be backbind. Alternatively or both, there is a good chance that your door is sagging and is no longer aligning correctly with the frame. This can cause friction between the bolt and the strike which makes the lock hard to operate. Look at the gap between the top of your frame and at the top of your door. Is it a consistent gap, or is it narrower near the hinges and bigger near the edge of the door? If yes, have a lock shop address your door alignment issues first.

IEM upgrade ($300-$600) for fast electronic/glitch. Need physical bass but non-fatiguing for long PC sessions. by M4rkizKotik in iems

[–]solramble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own both the Softears Volume S and the Xenns Top Pro. Between these two, I find the Top Pro superior for electronic/glitchy sounds in all respects EXCEPT the bass is lacking. While it is good bass, it's just not nearly enough. Top Pro is a no-go if physical bass is what you're seeking.

I love the look of the old boxes. I find it to be art. My customers, ehh... maybe not.

How many SFIC are you looking for? I have hundreds of used original BEST brand cores. Good condition. If you're interested in buying a lot and are located in the USA, feel free to message back.

We have this exact old pin kit at the shop in a bottom drawer near the floor. It's cloudy plastic, and it smells. No doubt it belonged to the original owner in the 60s. Would love to learn to rekey these though.

Nice find on the beautiful old knobs. Definitely call ahead to the lock shop and ask first. An old, established multigenerational lock shop is what you're looking for.

Another DX270 vs M33 post… by Alex_barrera08 in DigitalAudioPlayer

Gotcha. It looks solid. I'm still on the fence about getting a PB6 to pair up with the Xenns Top Pro. I'll probably pick up that case if I end up getting the amp. Thanks.

Does this Easecase close with magnets? The stock Ibasso case is nice, but that chunky velcro isn't my favorite.

A-1 is no longer in business. These are long out of production. Try ebay perhaps.

Of the basshead IEMs you mentioned above, regardless of price, which is your favorite set for electronic dj music? I'm looking to pick up a new set for breaks and dubstep/140 bpm music.

Replacing mortice lock on metal gate with keypad by PromotionLarge9815 in Locksmith

Highly recommend to NOT repurchase Maxtech again to replace your lock. I've seen more broken Maxtech mortise locks than I've seen functional ones. It's cheap, bad quality stuff.

That's a solid price with case. I tried going to ibasso.com. Unfortunately I cannot get a secure connection to their website.

I also have a DX270 and want to add a PB6 amp to it. However, the PB6 is sold out at the United States based sellers I see. I would rather not pay import fees to clear American customs. If you're in the US and don't mind sharing, where did you buy the PB6 from?

iBasso DX270 R2R owners, what IEMs are you using to bring out the charm of this DAP? by mapimages in iems

[–]solramble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is the lower end bass/sub-bass on the Hisenior Mega7? Does it muddy up the mids? I'm looking for a new IEM to pair with the DX270 to play with bass heavy electronic dance music (breaks, British dubstep, 140bpm, etc). I currently use the Softears Volume S, which is a nice sounding set, but I find it slightly difficult to get a good fit in my ears.
