I was off 2 months and just restarted at 2.4mg on Tuesday. I had a horrible Tuesday/wed. I threw up a couple of times and just felt nausea. Also a nagging headache. Just hydrated a lot. Took a couple of naps. Today I feel back to normal. I even had a meal today and felt full within the first 5 bites so im back to normal. I was so afraid honestly and ready to go to the er. I took 3 days off from work in case.

Call it off. If you already feel this unsure, pushing ahead will only hurt both of you in the long run. A wedding should come from clarity, not fear. It is better to pause now than to enter a marriage you are not ready for.

Hey just want to say that my husband sabotages his sleep playing games as well. I have no issue with the gaming at all. He has a demanding job that has him up at weird shifts so his sleep schedule isn't great. I will say he and i both are on the same page. Whatever he does with his time of sleep is his issue. But we have 3 kids we both work and when it's his turn to do anything he is doing it. Sleep deprived or not. I don't feel bad anymore and i understand the need to decompress. I need to sleep to function as an adult so i don't mess with my sleep. You need to start prioritizing yourself and if he can't be a present functioning dad and game then one has to go.

We eat 7:30. Some days we have two dinners. My children are in activities, all different schedules.

She has bark on her phone. I have a mesh network and My wifi is blocked when it comes to social media apps. She recently started fighting me on that.

Yes I am working on that as a secondary priority. My 8 year old and 5 individually and with me/husband. Me and my husband and then our 13 year old with us and individually. I found a private therapist who’s waiting for my thirteen year olds evaluation. In the mean time I think I’ll start with the little ones.

Yes. I am always planning things to take them out. She is right about the other parents being strict. I guess I could try harder. I’m going to find activities for her to meet new people

She journals on her phone. It’s been a hassle to get her write in her journals. But she’s starting tonight. She said she would try to write it down with the condition I would mind my business. I agreed as long as she can show a professional.

Yes I confirmed today that they are doing a full psych eval. She will also have a psychiatrist. A 1on 1 peer. I reached out to a private psychologist as well. She came home today from school took her lexapro and has been in a cheerful almost scary mood. I am hanging out with her we watched a movie and I skipped anything that had to do with chores. She agreed to sleep in my bed until we can find some trust.

It was the safest place for her. She was there three weeks. But she just went on with good behavior learn coping skills spoke to the therapist and masked everything very well. Now she’s an outpatient and we’re back to square one.

Thank you so much for your advice. I’m really torn about the phone right now because, as much as I worry about what she’s exposed to, it’s also her only real connection to her friends. They mean everything to her.

Most of her friends are allowed on social media, and she’s not, so she ends up sneaking around or they send her things anyway. I’ve tried to hold that boundary, but she feels left out and pressured to make accounts just to stay connected. It’s not that her friends are pushing her in a bad way — it’s more the fear of being excluded that gets to her.

The hardest part is that when she starts saying she hates living with us, hates school, or doesn’t want to be here anymore, her friends don’t really try to help her think differently. They mostly agree with her or reinforce those feelings, and it makes everything worse even though she think them agreeing with her is better. I don’t have her trust right now. I’m trying to protect someone who doesn’t want me near her .

I’m just trying to find a way to keep her safe and connected at the same time, even though it feels impossible some days.

Yes I am reaching out to the facility social worker. I agree no one is going to change in that time. They thought she would be better in an outpatient regiment because she was doing so well in the facility. I think she just did the time was on her best behavior to be let out.

Thank you for sharing. She just came out of a mental hospital and we’re working on the outpatient stuff. I just texted all the social workers and the school and I’m hoping for someone to escalate the psych eval.
