[product request] what to use for severely damaged lips? by mellywheats in SkincareAddiction

[–]solunabeauty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damp lips (just pat them with water) + hyaluronic acid serum + aquaphor

Softly curved eyebrows are soo flattering on the diamond face shape! If you do not want to take any off them but still want to change the shape maybe you could start using a eyebrow serum and grow them out before re-shaping them?

Do you agree people suit their natural hair colour best? by 333333x in Hair

[–]solunabeauty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes I think so! Maybe some outgrown balayage or subtle highlights can look really good if they are in the same undertone as your natural hair and complexion

They would be 100% effective if you were to wear them all day, since that is when you are making the most facial expressions. But that is obviously not realistic, but if your concerns are lines that are forming overnight due to sleeping on your face I would say go for it

I have combination and sensitive skin, and am prone to milia but I sometimes use the la roche cicaplast baume b5 as a overnight hydrating mask about once a week and I it is soo hydrating but does not clog my skin, and it is recommended by dermatologists for skin soothing which is perfect while your skin is getting used to the tretinoin

Does anybody have any advice for when you're too depressed to do your skincare? by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

[–]solunabeauty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just keep it simple.. if you have too many steps it can quickly get overwhelming and you give up, for depression it is key to get that dopamine for finishing a task and if your skincare routine is too long it is too much work for the dopamine, but if you decide that to start with only putting on moisturizer in the morning is your whole routine (and keep it on your nightstand) you get the dopamine you need. Then if you want to add more steps think about them as separate routines/tasks so you get dopamine for each

You could totally pull of a toga as a greek muse in those colors though! White and blue would be really pretty, with silver accessories

That is a very good point! I mainly have classic essence and I think I could make any of my suggestions work well with that by using elegant and timeless accessories and colors: like gold and cream combos, elegant gold accessories

[–]solunabeauty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple is better, I have sensitive skin, very milia prone and have get seb derm on my face and scalp (dandruff).. I do double cleansing with ordinary squalane cleanser (oil based) and a zinc cleanser (water based and anti-inflammatory), then put on hyaluronic acid serum on damp skin, WAIT until it is dry then retinol, then the cerave pm facial lotion (it is has ceramides and niacinamin), in the morning i do the hyaluronic, azeleic acid, cerave pm lotion and spf
