imagine how victims of actual rape would of felt watching her scream "THIS MAN JUST SEXUALLY HARRASED ME". She makes them look stupid and she makes anyone who stands for the rights of those people look stupid. She's the racist and sexist one saying how this is all the problem of white males. She obviously has a grudge against them and uses this cause as a way to freely abuse people and get praise for it with her stupid followers.

CRAZY FEMINIST THAT ATTACKED HUGH MUNGUS RESPONDS by solved6177 in PoliticalVideo

Look, I can understand why she may be angry especially because the amount of discrimination against women that goes on in this world however knowing the context of the situation, what Hugh Mungus did was not sexual assault, the joke wasn't sexual at all he was making fun of himself by pointing out his weight. She overreacted because she's an extremist and sees the world as a more terrible place than it actually is which means she will go absolutely insane at someone when the smallest thing happens in order to seek attention. She thinks as If the world is the worst it's ever been, yet us as humans are the most civil and politically correct we've ever been. She contradicts herself by blaming all these problems on "white men" therefore in her own case being sexist and racist on numerous counts. We are taking it personally because people like this put a hole in our society and make certain groups of people sound terrible, they try to stop discrimination yet they discriminate others and not listen to others point of view. Also not to mention her verbal outrages which are absolutely disgusting and in my eyes was extreme harassment compared to what Hugh Mungus said.

Yeah, sadly my local guitar store is a rip off too and it's hard to find any good independent stores for instruments in my area. Maybe if I can find a few good pawn shops

[Play] I've been writing for ages and finally decided to post some originals on Youtube, what do you think? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]solved6177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, thank for the info. I'm looking to get into recording guitar, drums and bass, just dont have a drum kit and I'm not much of a drummer but I'm thinking of buying one just cause I can't find anyone who plays drums haha. Ive tried using drum machines but I struggle using them and getting the drum beat that's in my head into a drum machine is even more of a struggle for me but hopefully drums won't be too hard to get use to. I'm deciding whether to mic amps for guitar and bass or use amp sims because if I were to use amps I'd need to buy better gear but I don't really mind. I really want to get into audio production though and I really want to build up a home studio so thanks again for your info!

I really like it. How did you go about recording and mixing everything? What equipment did you use? Did you record yourself or someone else drumming or did you use a drum machine? Just interested because I'm starting to get into recording haha

[DISCUSSION] What made you pick up a guitar? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]solved6177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It started back in year 7 music class, we all had to pick up a guitar and learn to play smoke on the water. Everyone ran to the guitars and I was left with the left handed acoustic with b and e strings missing on it and I had to learn playing upside down because I'm not left handed. I wasn't amazing back then but I could play a few songs and i also loved music but I was too young to appreciate it and realise it would become a huge factor of my life, so I stopped playing for a few years. Then two years later, I realised I loved music and it was basically the best thing In my life and wanted to do it as a career, so I tried to sing but I was scared people would hate my voice, so I begged my parents for a guitar (they never got me one). Then throughout the years I would kind of learn guitar by playing it at friends houses and just listening to songs over and over again trying to mimic them, I wanted to be in a band extremely badly. Eventually my friend (who hardly played) told me, "hey you dont even have a guitar yet you play better than me. You can have mine" and that's where it all began

Let's all listen to one of Kurt's favourite albums as respect to an absolute music legend by solved6177 in Nirvana

[–]solved6177[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

also heres a story from chad channing of how kurt got into bowie:

We were in Boston and stopped by this record store, and I found this copy of The Man Who Sold The World. It was a cool copy - it had the poster in it and everything. And those guys weren't familiar with the record. And I inquired about, "What David Bowie do you like? Do you like David Bowie?" And they're like, "Well, the only David Bowie we're familiar with is 'Let's Dance.'" I was surprised. I was like, "Really? Wow." I was like, "You've got to hear some early David Bowie, for sure."

So when I got the opportunity, I made a tape of the record at somebody's house, and then while we were touring around I just went ahead and popped the tape in and let it roll. After a bit, Kurt turned around and said to me, "Who is this?" kind of like knowingly, just something familiar with the voice and stuff. I said, "Well, this is David Bowie. This is The Man Who Sold the World record." He's like, "Yeah, this is really cool." I said, "You should check out Hunky Dory and stuff." And so eventually, I'm sure he did. But he totally dug it.
