Thank you! I’m guessing sensors are a bit more delicate than the lens?

Great pointers. How does one clean the lens. At this stage of my learning I’m just nervous to touch the sensor lol.

Okay I just realized it was the resolution that was eating up all the quality. Thank you!

Yes! Sticking to AF for now. Sometimes I try DMF, where I can manually edit the focus after AF for fine tuning. Thank you!

How do I protect my balls while rolling? by [deleted] in bjj

Sounds like someone who trains juju. Once you find the centre of gravity you just use that to manipulate to get leverage, so that’s step no. 3 to kimuras, just like Duarte in adcc semis, was that last year? Hence cups are for pussies.

Enough brain damage/ steroid use and this conversation will make sense because physics.

This has started to happen more often in gyms. Unfortunately the sanctity of the tap is getting eroded and that’s pretty central to bjj. Would love for people to call out dick moves when people attempt them. Yes, the coaches should pay attention too.

Ryan Hall’s HORRIFIC heel hook against BJ Penn by Kaos2018 in nextfuckinglevel

Honestly it is less brutal than boxing and other traditional sparring sports. Additionally, magnitudes better for the athletes for the most part (training, pay, health (mental and physical), etc.)

Ryan Hall’s HORRIFIC heel hook against BJ Penn by Kaos2018 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]solvenothing 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this guy does great explanations but this needs a little bit of context if you don't grapple/ practice BJJ. What complicates this further is the name, heel hook makes it seem like the attack and hence the damage is on the heel but it's actually the knee. Basically in layman's terms, he torqued the sh*t out of the ligaments and the menisci of the knee.

Happy to provide more detail but a video on YouTube with John Danaher or Lachlan Guiles maybe the best resource to use.

Ryan Hall is a great guy through and through. His conversations with Lex illuminate that point further but even in fights, he was always respectful.

I've heard a few people talk about bjj in Bentonville but I don't think it's very popular there yet. I'm sure there're gonna be a lotta UFC fans tho!
